Moving all my DAZ content

Hi everyone.

I know my question was already asked by the past, but I never was able to manage my problem

All my DAZ content are in the default folder : "C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library". But at this time, I don't have any more space on my HDD C ( It's a SSD and I have already move on another drive all the .zip files from Install Manager's file)

So, my question is very simple. Is there someone who can explain to me (as I was a dummy ...), step by step,  how I can move on another drive all my DAZ content. And, if I open a previous scene, will DAZ be capable to find alone the assets ? Or, is there another manipulation for this ?

Something like :

1/ Step 1

2/ Step 2

3/ Step 3

(if you want to include screenshoots, you are welcome ;) )

I'm very sorry to asking this again, but I have now to many DAZ content and I'm now stuck even to download new content more than 2Go ...

Thank you for your help.

You can have multiple content folders if you want. Just make a new one on a new drive and tell DIM to use that instead for all new things. It's not really the same as moving the stuff over, but it's easier.

Thank you for this advice :) How can I move my content and tell DIM where to find him ? Last time I try, he found nothing :(

I meant not moving but making a 2nd content folder for new content. The old content will remain in the old folder but DIM will install new stuff to the new folder.

From now on DIM will install things to the new location. You'll also need to tell DAZ Studio about this new folder by opening daz studio and going to Edit > Preferences > Content > Content Directory Manager... and adding the folder into the appropriate place there.

So theoritically if after pointing the DIM to a new folder,  if I then Uninstalled everything and reinstalled it, it would reinstall it to the new location?

    Not just theoretically.
