ok gang... I'm not sure what is going on... Daz worked great a few weeks ago... now it's giving me ghosted characters. (see samples below)
I'm rendering with 3Delight... The characters render just fine with no clothes on... but the minute I add clothes the character ghosts out but the clothes are rendering fine... ???? What's going on????

It looks like an issue I had - this may sounf strange, but give it a try .. got to the Render Settings dialog, go to advanced and 'cycle' the Motion blur checkbox, ending up with it off, and try again.
Are you running with the latest version of DS? I had a ticket open on a problem like this in the DS 10.0.101 Beta, but it was fixed when I installed 10.0.118. Maybe it came back?
Has any of the clothing items got smoothing switched on? Try turning it off and see if the ghost re-materialises. That was what my problem involved.
I started a thread about it a while back, but got no responds.

Sorry, missed that entirely, else I'd have commented on it.
ok... Simon gets the prize... DING Ding ding!!!! I was working with motion blur on my bus last week for my Render a month challenge and it was still clicked on... hum.. that brings up another question then... We can't use motion blurr anymore???
Re:Sven... sorry i missed that post too... but too tell you the truth... I never would have had a good answer for you. :(
So... are we loosing motion blurr in Daz with people? or is there a fix???
Yes, we can use motion blur, just need to make sure it is set to off when we don't need it.
that's the problem Simon.. WHAT if... I did want to use some motion blurr on my samples above... I guess I wouldn't be able too. I tried different characters and.. G1, G2, G3... they all do it... as long as I don't put clothes they render fine... the minute I add clothing (tried different outfit combinations) The character ghosts. Weird!!! and puzzling!
Oh, sorry - I think I see what you mean ... yes, iff you want to use motion blur (I used it in my circle rewnder here) it will work. It' seems to be an issue if it is selected and no animation frame(s) motion blur are set up.
I'll have to experiment some more Simon... but that doesn't explain Sven's problem on his thread... He's got 3 characters in one render... and only 1 of the characters is ghosted! I would think all 3 of them would be ghosted if there's no animation set up. Very puzzling!
