Needing to transfer face morphs from G2 to G8

Hi,
Is there any way to do this? Since I've moved back over to Genesis I want to get my Bruno face morphs over to G8 and then take those into ZBrush and refine them a bit more. I just want the base shapes as I know they are older and I'm allot more accomplished using ZBrush these days but I hate the idea of starting completely from scratch.
Thanks
Richard

If you own Genx2 you can transfer G2 to G3 then use one of the G3 to G8 morph methods posted in the commons.
I'm pretty sure you can follow the SickleYield tutorial on YouTube or DeviantArt to use Transfer Utility & Morph Loader Pro to transfer G2 to G3 & then repeat for G3 to G8.
I have personally followed it to transfer from G3 to G8, both male & female face morphs.

THank you. Is there a preset out there to set up G2M to exact layout as G8M? The arms and legs on Sickle's DevPage only gives the two degrees but the forearms and fingers are not matching up at all. I have ALLOT of face morphs I did for G2M and some body shapes that I like as well. I also did ALLOT of female shapes for him so I'll probably share those as freebies, would go well with Fisty's trans-dress she and Darc released in the DAZ Store! lol
OK, I think I got it figured out. So far so good. Here is the G8M Stance Default For G2M pose. I used the clone that's included with G8M of G2 so just modified G2's stance to mimic G8's. Here is that pose in the zip below. Not sure if anyone will find it useful but hopefully this will do the trick in getting my morphs from G2 over to G8 Male.
I have seen varying degrees given to change from the T to A pose or vice versa in various tutorials but I use 46.5 (-46.5) and 6(-6). It won't be exact exact I don't think though no matter what angles you use. Make sure the (x, y, z) values for translation and rotation locations match for each character.
So if the G3 character is in the T-Pose one shoulder is moved 46.5 and the other -46.5, and the thighs moved 6 and -6 to line them up with the G8 A pose. Reverse those if you are going from G8 to G3.
Well it works just fine. The hands and feet on some of the shapes were a bit wonky but easy enough to fix in ZBrush so it's all good. Here is my very old Fantasy-PABFuzzie morph from Genesis 1. Had some fixing to do with him in ZBrush and the eyes are still a bit off but from this distance looks fine.
Oh, well it known that those tools introduce a bit of distortion in the hands & feet, more on some models than others, and it shows up worse in the fingernails & toenails.
That was one of the problems Singular Blues was trying to resolve in his G3 to G8 scripts in that other thread in the Commons before he pulled them.
It's OK. ZBrush is great for restoring stuff like that so I'm about 3/4's of the way through with my conversions and making improvements along the way. Fun!
Her hands & feet transferred good if you didn't do any corrective sculpts.
No, they were a mess. Nice thing about ZBrush is that I just loaded the base GM8 in as a morph target to fix things like hands, feet, eyes and teeth!
My favorite thing about ZBrush, truly. You can sculpt right over the "edges" of where you're "coloring" and then just paint back in your original shape where you need it.
Never tried that. Is there a video tutorial out there to watch on the technique?
Isn't that what you were referring to? If not, you just store your base shape as a morph target, sculpt whatever you want without paying too close attention to whether you're accidentally messing up the skull, etcetera, and then use the morph brush to either paint in the original base shape, or switch the morph target with the current geometry and paint in the parts of your sculpt that you wanted.
I'm working on converting someone's unpublished morph set from male to female and I am doing this a lot to clean up the transfer results.
Oh, your using the term PAINT ... I use the term BRUSH my morphed data back. Silly!
