Removing bones or Making gloves a single Right/Left Prop

I'll try not to over explain (like I usually do) but if you look at the attached images. I am working with these flight suits AS the figure and using only the genisis or Low Rez Charactor's Head attached to the suits and turning everything else off. No need to fit or to fix poke through.

The included gloves are too big and lack finger controls. So I purchased these Glove Props. https://www.daz3d.com/neoprene-gloves-for-genesis-and-genesis-2-female-s.  The problem is that the gloves  are rigged as one unit to adapt to Genisis or Gen2. Who Cares? All I need is to parent the individual R/L gloves to the R/L hands/arms of the Flight Suit and use the individual finger controls to position the fingers. Seems easy enough.

Trouble is I'm too stupid to figure out how to delete the Connecting Bones and the Connection each glove has with each other (as being one prop) and keep the bones in the fingers of the gloves and use them seperately.   I actually was able to delete the bones of the skeleton but I couldn't figure out how to break the bond each glove has with total unit called "Genesis Neoprene Gloves"  Right now the best I can do is to use two sets of (Genesis Neoprene Gloves). One set for the Left and one set for the right but there was GOT TO BE a Better (Correct way to do this). Can anyone explain this to me?? I'm still using DS 4.6 but I assume this is fairly basic going way back.

Thank You

Steve

first you need to load up the gloves

with the gloves selected, choose the geometry editor and select all the polys of one glove.

right click and select to hide the selected geometry.

right click again and select to delete hidden geometry.

then click the joint editor tool and start going through all the bones you don't need (either in the scene or in the tree) right click and delete bone.

Then save as a prop or support asset.

repeat the steps only removing the opposite glove.

Where's the  Geometry Editor or is that the Polygon Group Editor?

If your editing tool is still labelled the Polygon Group Editor you are using a fairly old version of DS.

Yep that's it. You know it's funny. Things are freak'n hard until you know how to do them.  Two weird things. I spent hours trying to figure out how to delete my selection in Graphics editor. Then I went back again to look at this post to see that you can't but you have to hide the selected polygons then delete those that are hidden.  Kinda convoluted, no direct delet selection.   The other weird thing is that I do have DS4.9 but when I tried to save my work as prop asset, it kept crashing and crashing.  Now figure out while I still use 4.6!!

Any ways thank you a whole bunch.
