[How long has it been since the Daz3D Product Freebies shop page (banner link at top) was updated?] Title covers my question.  It feels like it's been over a month or something.

I remember someone commenting on this a couple of weeks ago, but can't find that comment/thread now.  I've grown somewhat accustomed to seeing updates to this section every 2-3 weeks, and it's nice to get freebies occasionally that don't require buy-ins...

Yeah yeah, don't look the gift horse in the mouth and all that, but it's part of my weekly rounds, so I feel minorly disappointed when there's nothing new there for me...

Plat Club freebies is a separate issue from this (those are still getting weekly updates).

Is this now a once a month thing?  Is that shop section abandoned?  Inquiring minds want to know...

    It looks like DAZ may have changed from biweekly to monthly freebies. The curent set has been up for 3 and 1/2 weeks and the set before the current one was up for 4 weeks.

    Might not be exactly the same but Daz gave upto 7 free products into our libraries a couple of weeks ago as part of the starter freebies.

    aah is it why i suddenly have iray HDR backgrounds, DM memorial and rocker & thief outfits (yaaaay.. for females of course, which i never use, what a surprise - i hope i can fit that to my guys) in my DIM? i was wondering, even i guessed it might be related to starter packs... at least the HDR come very handy. the skimpwear for chicks a bit less :/

    i noticed the bi-monthly freebies are about to become bi-semesterly or something.. i hope that at least, if/when they get renewed, whenever and however often, they're going to be a) not always the same old same old we've seen for ages, and b) not such a high percentage of chick stuff. i have barely profited at all for weeks, either (the same recurring) general stuff i already have, or a tiny bit of guy stuff i usually already have as well.. and then nothing i could use but a flurry of skirts, dresses etc. urgh. oh and c) not all textures for clothing i'd have to buy first - taken i actually am interested, see b)...

    It's kind of normal for Daz to ignore the freebies page when there's a big sale going on. I wouldn't read too much into it.
