"Wrong Gift Card Code" (Solved. Also 'duh-h' ;-)

For the first time since I got into DS, I treated myself to a gift card. Got the confirmation email with the link, but no matter what I do, I get a "Wrong Gift Card Code" message. Tried copying and pasting the code when I went to check out. Same message.

Is there some trick to using these things, or do I need to open a support ticket muy pronto (since there's an item I want to snag while it's still on sale)?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    You probably exchanged it to store credits already. Check your store credits.

    Unfortunately, when it succeeds, there is no feedback, it just reloads the page.

    If it's not showing up in your store credtits, then check to see if you have another email from daz with another giftcard code.

    Check that the store credit wasn't already credited to you.

    If it wasn't, open a ticket with DAZ and they'll sort it out.

    This seems to be a fairly common problem. I've had it on the last two gift cards I purchased. A little while back, I used to routinely get two emails, one with a code that worked, and one with one that didn't. Now they seem to have streamlined things so that they only send out the one that doesn't work. On the plus side, however, DAZ Sales Support have always resolved the problem quickly when I contacted them. (They reset the 'bad' code so that it works, so hang onto your original email; you'll need it).

    DId you just get the one email with the GC code.   sometimes 2 get sent out and onlyy on is the correct code.
