Dear Redzstudio... You rock. I have some requests... :)

Dear Redz,

I love your stuff and it is usually an insta-buy for me,

Having said that. As a long-time comic book fan, I seem to have an issue finding select hair types which are unusual. A couple of these would only require morphs, I believe of some products youy already have but I have problems doing morphs on hair, for some reason.

They are:

The Superman Spit Curl

The Wolverine slick wings

And, like the Wolverine slick wings but shorter and with two strange callicks in the front... The Quicksilver Speed Hair

I know you have a busy schedule. I am certainly not making demands but hoping to put a bug in your ear . Who knows. Maybe you are a comic fan and have been thinking about it. :)

Just a thought.

Your fan,

RKane_1

Thanks RKane_1 Definitely food for thought there. I’m out of town for a week but will mull over your suggestions. :)

@Redz, if you're actually taking suggestions, might I suggest a stand-alone donor cap of the sort that you made for Tousled and Commander hairs, which we could fit other G3/G8 hairs to, and use morphs like your hairline and receding and other morphs for other hairs? A lot of the male hairs have unisex or female hairlines, and something like that -- with stronger versions of those morphs (hair with smoothing on fights back! who knew?) would be very welcome. It won't work for all hairs, of course, depending on their shapes, but it would work for a lot of them. (I've basically been fitting and parenting everything to those caps since those hairs came out.)

Redz? Thank you for your consideration.

Even if a few of these were just small hair pieces or morphs that attached to the original hairs you already had out to augment them to look like these, I would greately appreciate it and I am sure many other fans would as well.

Thank you againVERY much for your time and consideration. :)

Yup. Redz rocks. Most definitely. Last year, I asked her for the George Michael Fastlove hair,

Image result for George michael fast love video still

    and she responded with this,

    image

which has even more (and there's more than what is shown here) than I could have asked. I'm convinced that there's nothing that she can't do, if she is so inclined. Her hair is the most realistic hair commercially available for Daz characters, and that is fact, not opinion.

Oh wow, I'd not idea you could do this! I love Commander Hair for it's hairline and noticed the separate cap and hair, but I had not investigated how it worked.

A universal (or semi-universal) cap would be a good buy so +1 to that.

Hmm - not sure what you mean? I was referring to the donor cap concept which vwrangler mentioned to alter the hairline to widow's peak, receding, etc. Can the Hat and Hair Helper do that too?

To some extent... The problem is there isn't a single method for making hair to make a universal tool from; it is very different from making a utility to make clothes fiit better where you know there will be a torso, a chest, hips.... etc.... I wish some one would make accessory hair pieces so that i could add the widows peak or baby hair around the face.

Someone had something I believe at the "other site" just for this. It slid the vertices on the forehead over and down without losing the shape of the head so scalp properties would have their hair line dragged down. Forgot what it was called though.

The hat and hair helper isn't really designed to do what the hair caps do. Most of the morphs are designed to make the hair sink inside the head so that it's hidden where it would be covered by a hat, rather than poking through it. (I do have it, yes.) There are a couple of morphs that enlarge, but none of them that reshape the hairline without expanding or shrinking the way that Tousled and Commander caps do.

Yes, the one at the other site actually mioves the vertices down the forehead WITHOUT losing the form of the forehead. This moves the hairline down,. I will need to look at my Commander hair when I get home to see if it does the same. :)

I second and third this thread with both thumbs.  Fourth and Fifth it both toes.

And while we are on the subject of hair requests ... I would actually love to get a Dark Knight Joker style hairdo with color options.

    Thanks!

I often wonder why there is not a set out just for "Outliers" like stray hairs, callicks, and odd bangs and such. This might be a thing that would solve some of these problems.. :)

I hope you remember some more about that product because I need it since so few hairmakers regularly include hairline morphs (some include NO morphs). I searched but I could not find it.

Also, I would LOVE it if the Historic Hair was made into sets representative of different eras like the current one could be the "Historic Hair - Colonial Expandsion Era" set and then have some from different eras. like WWII and the Victorian and Elizabethan eras.

I really like that hair too. There is something about the way that it is made that you get that sheen in the hair when you render. I'm not getting that in other fibre hair or polygon hairs that I render, at least not as good as that hair.

Can't copyright a hair style as long as you don't use their names or similar images in the promos or product page. :)

Spit Curl was popular in he 50's. The other hair styles, while unusual, I have seen on many other characters in comics.

An frankly my Uncle has Joker Hair but few will tell him. :)
