Q: Body Shapes Children for Genesis 8 Male

Hi,

I just had a look at the promos of the new product "Body Shapes: Children for Genesis 8 Male". It looks as it misses age related shapes for the head. There are some descibed for mouth, ears, eyes, nose. But the shown outcome still looks more like a small remake of the G8M head. Especially for those young children (max 8yo). Since G2 this seems to be a general problems of the delivered "youth" products.

Years ago there was a detailed description (principle paintings) of the age related different proportions (and especially hight positioning) of eyes, mouth, nose and head shape in general. Pitty that I lost the link to it on DA.

So this product is focosed mainly on the body shapes?

P.S. The face of "Young Minto" looks more convincing.

    Actually I think they made a good choice at minimize the head shape changes for child morphs. There are other products in the DAZ Store that do heavily include head morphs for child morphs and when such morphs are applied instead of making adult characters child morphs look like the correspending child for those particular adults they all wind up looking like the same child.

    OK,

    for individual faces you have the full set of the various face shapes. But it is not solving the general problem of the "not really" age mapping proportions.

    The best morph up to now I saw was at the K4 Basic Child morph for Genesis 1.
    The next problem is the lack of good young Kids skin textures.
