dForce, conforming clothing and the underboob vacuum.

Hello,

With dForce coming out I was finally looking forward to having the ability to easily deal with all clothing vacuum sealing itself to pretty much any curve on a model. However, even when I paint the entire mesh full red to make everything dynamic it really only seems to affect the edges and that darn clingwrap is still there.

If I don't "Fit to..." and manually pose it over the model it works, but that's a painstaking process and impossible in some poses.

Anyone know how to get it to hang correctly with dForce (without any time consuming animation tricks, ideally). The main dForce thread is great but has not helpe me find this solution asof yet.

Try to fit it to the model and then disable the morphs affecting the problematic zones. You can see those morphs under parameters, after checking to see hidden properties.

oooo good idea! That helped a good amount, but it's still not perfect. Definitely  huge improvement though. Thanks!

You do need to bear in mind that dForce can work only with what it is given - if the mesh is modelled to hug the figure then dForce will drape the figure-hugging shape, it can't add extra fabric for a more usual cut.

Yeah, it looks like playing with the morphs is the best solution for non dForce-compliant clothing.

Edit: Looks like you can add any morph the conforming body can by having a non-zero value in the morph field. I added some ribcage and chest expanders to be .001 so they show up on the clothing and blow those up a lot. It looks like it'll go slack if it's not colliding with the mesh.

Glad it helped; I usually do what I said to you; but sometimes I don't fit the clothing and just apply the same pose to both the figure and cloth separately. I don't have that problem with collisions since I am using VWD, but you could try Zev's Fit Control morphs to expand on that area with more accuracy.
