I assume this is a morph pack and thus includes no SKINS or face textures.
The promos show many faces, but this is focused on just the SHAPES of the faces and it's up to me to find/create the SKINS.
Am I fully correct?

yep, just faces.
There are no textures or new morphs included - These are just presets utilizing the G3 Head Morphs & Aiko
Aw damn, figured. Thanks.
Wow. So this is on discount today.

And I was going to make a thread about the skins. Checked ATIs add-on for forum threads and I asked about this already.
What is ATIs addon, please?
I think he means the Daz Deals plugin (emails for this are from ATI), which shows links to related forum threads on the product page.
I can't even see that, just get 404.
The store is bonkers right now.
Add a / to the end of the browser address and it should work.

Speaking of which, the thing I was thinking about is exactly that. I think I have one product bookmarked that is, indeed skins.
Surprised that selling skins, directly isn't a thing.
That new product seems to be a skin editor, but not the skins themselves.
Seems like it should be a popular thing.
It used to be. Search the shop for "elite skin texture" and you'll find a few from the V4 and Genesis 1 eras, but it seems to have died out since then. I suppose we've come to expect a morph to shipped along with each skin.
I suppose, if you look at what we get in the store now, we either have characters - one shape, one skin - or sets of morphs/dial settings to give multiple shapes but no skin. What would a skin-only product look like? Would it just be a single skin but no shape? That way it would probably have to be priced lower than a character that has both. Or would it be multiple skins but no shapes? I'm guessing that would take a lot of time to produce, once you factor in eye colours, makeup options, etc. I guess it's better value for the PA making five skins to turn them into five separate products.
The skin is the hardest part of a character product to make, especially if you don't take a shortcut and use a MR which many do. Morphs are realitively easier and faster to make.
...which is the reason why I rather buy figures who have a not so average skin instead of those with "basic" skins and faces/bodies that can be achieved with a little morph dialing.
clicked your link to check it out and I own it, don't remember getting it or seeing it before maybe a freebie once not part of any bundle
