Agh. Just as PC+ membership is there, 404 is back to play once again, and not even / can save there. (Oh and not so coincidentally, it is also back for various items, like Alien Queen etc.)
Pls be fixings?

There have been a few threads on this. Daz is aware and trying to fix this problem.
Indeed, I know! Could we get a thread stickified so we can notify there rather than create a new one or resurrect a dusty older one? I think that would be splendid, so one could drop "headsup, this page has a problem" and so on? Since then a mod or admin can go "acknowledged!" and peeps don't need to worry if that "Report bug" report of 404 page has any effect.
It's not a matter of certain pages having a problem. All of the pages are there. It's a more general issue that pops up randomly. You can still view the 404 pages in an incognito/private window.
Try using another browser. I get 404 pages all the time with Mac Safari, these days, but never with Chrome.
the point is it should be fixed
for all browsers
it is losing DAZ sales
All the new products today go to 404 for me in Chrome. Tried in Edge and it works fine. Weird.
I'm using chrome too lots of 404s including older stuff in my product library and yeah did the incognito but when I go to add/buy or add to wishlist I have to resign in again do that then go to buy or add to wishlist get the 404 again
Don't sign in again.
Here's the simplest solution I found:
Be logged in in your main browser, whatever that is. To open the details of a product, right-click, and open in new incognito/private window. When you want to add it to the cart, you can do so from the main (non-incognito) window. Just click on the cart button in the category page/main shop page. To move it to wishlist... yeah, that's a bit problematic, but you put it in the cart, and from the cart page you move it to the wishlist.
No more 404s.
Of course, this is inconvenient as heck, so Daz should still fix this ASAP, but until then, this is a workaround that requires the least amount of worrying and cursing. ;)
Bound to be arcane and technical, but ... how can you stuff up a web-server like this? Some obscure .ini file stting, such as: screw_up_service = random:404?
I'm not changing browsers and I certainly don't enjoy the so callecd work around. I sure hope this can be fixed sooner rather than later.
Using the store in "not signed in" is ... not a winning strategy if I want to buy stuff, y'know?
I mean, yes, I know it shows me stuff if I am not logged in, the problem still persists if I try to use a different browser while logged in, since it is apparently tied to something-something-magic-something-maybe-having-bought-stuff-or-maybe-not-IDK-they-don't-let-me-see-the-code-and-I'm-not-paid-to-debug-it-anyway.
I'm not sure it has anything to do with buying - I have bought several items in MM and (so far) have had only one or two 404s.
Though yes, I can see the need for it to be fixed, not patched by the user. Like they said, though, they're working on it.
I stopped the 404s in their tracks by adding "/shop/" to the URLs:
From this:
https://www.daz3d.com/skin-shading-essentials-tutorial
To This:
https://www.daz3d.com/shop/skin-shading-essentials-tutorial
This is hilarious!
For me, the url with "/shop" added returns 404, and the url without loads fine. lol

LOL, I was hoping that would work for all. Guess I was wrong.
I know - I was excited to try it, too. I did a double-take when I clicked on both of your links and got the opposite results! It's hard not to think that this is a Cloudflare issue . . .

Here are a few more that are not working... Edge or Chrome same results

Adding /Shop/ makes no difference for me...
Too bad, I was planning on buying some of these today... 50% discount!
If you access the product pages from this site, you will not get 404. Ever. Simply click on the product thumbnail; then click on the cart icon on the product page that opens up. This will open the daz3d.com product page with no issues.
Godin's entire store is inaccessible.
I'm using chrome and I can only access one of today's new items, the entire rest of them are 404. I haven't bought in a few days. I tried FF with multiple 404, tried going from shop page and from email links directly. What is going on with this 404?? Is costing sales I'm quite sure, as I can't buy what i can't see!!
What works for me if I get a 404 is to put a backslash behind the url - https://www.daz3d.com/aldebaran-x-49-outfit-textures changes to https://www.daz3d.com/aldebaran-x-49-outfit-textures/
:)
already tried that Mada and it didn't work. Thanks anyway though :( even with backslash it stiill shows 404
I'm having intermittent 404s as well. On a couple of them, I've ended up googling the product to get to the actual product page, because the associatedsales page link is 404'ing, and adding a / isn't getting it done... Firefox 58.0.2 64 bit in my case.
have you tried using a private or incognito window?
incognito works on most of them. what the heck is going on with the store tho?? I've missed several days of sales, and I'm sure there's others who have missed out due to the 404's... and that means less for daz.
I confirm these 404 pages show up ramdomly with Chrome now. Fortunately I can use 3 browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) and at least one of them works in the store, most of the time.
Agreed. Ridiculous!
I've been getting 404 all morning on HP Yuka character, but I just tried nDelphi's trick to add 'shop' in the url and it worked (link below). I use Chrome.

If I had to venture a guess, I’d guess this is a caching/Cloudflare Issue. This could explain why it’s different for different people at different times, why switching browsers helps (they have different caches), and why incognito browsing helps (no/less caching).
Perhaps it’s time to have an outside consultant help as the issue obviously affects a large number of users. The workaround is a big enough pain to deter people from shopping (I know I have stopped).
