Getting hooked on daz studio

Hey all

I’ve had DS for a few days and really liking it. I was staunch poser user since poser 2, still use poser 11 but found out that only poser pro 11 takes advantage off GPU rendering. Iray is so cool I love that DS can use my graphics card GPU to render.

Now I need more stuff for DS and the Genesis 3&8 females LOL!!!

    GPU rendering is all I do these days. I used 3Delight for something special, like the pwToons shaders.

    As a fellow poser user for years, welcome!! Iray and the preview mode are great, saves me so much time.

    Getting hooked often involves a bit of blood.  Have you checked your credit card lately it may be injured. surprise

    I was the same (although I started with Poser 4). I would say that in years past right now would be a great time to pick up the extra stuff you need, but as for this particular March Madness sale...errrr, meh. LOL Ya might get lucky if you watch the sales ;).

    Also, it might be in your best interest to join the Platinum Club if you think you'll be buying a bit of stuff. The savings are really nice, but ya might actually buy more that way. LOL

    I switched over from poser to DS when Iray and G3 were introduced. before that I used Poser since version 4. the move was difficult. One big advise: Allways try a right click. Many things you might need in DS are hidden in a right click menue.

    If you're a long time Poser user and like dynamic clothing, you're gonna love the physic dForce engine included in DAZ Studio 4.10.
