I am giving Marvelous Designer a go once again. But I'm a bit confused on how to create the UV map, and export the texture I have created in MD. Can anyone help me?

On the Export panel, go down to the bottom "File" section and tick the box for "Save with Texture Files (ZIP)". You will then get a zip file containing the mesh and texture files.

On the other hand, You could try to create as many materials as possible and assign them to the different parts of your garments. An Example:

I create a pullover. Then i cut and sew the arms and create 2 Materials, one for the forward part of the sleeve, one for the "t-shirt" sleeve part. Name them cleverly and assign a texture to them. So when you export, you have different Zones. For me, the big plus is: Your customers can assign ANY fabrics they have, no matter if seamless 2D pictures or Shaders. They can even hide whole texture zones, so you can create a lonarm or t-shirt with one model, just by hiding the materials. I find it a lot easier than to create dozens of Textures in Photoshop. You can even create logos with the Decals option of Marvelous designer. They can be hidden or changed as well (just create transparency maps for each of the logos you create).

So, try out wich is best for you, but both options have it's pro and cons.

  • please help me i cant put the texture perfectely please everyone help me
