Behind the Curve but saving bundles

I had been using V4/M4 up until a bit ago. Never really got into Genisis or Genisis 2 very much. 
It seemed the G3 was getting way nmore support, but then all of a sudden, G8. 

TONS of stuff for G8 ... BUT ... by concentrating on G3 and older, it appears the pricing is waaaay better, and right now DAZ is having big sales on v4/m4 generation stuff. 

The other thing I've been doing is buying new characters when they have the free bundle deals. Serious money savings there ... so in just the last day, I picked up Lillith 7 Pro bundle, Lee and Mei lin7 Pro bundles, and that Asian River bundle FREE.  Just a couple weeks prior, during the Alexandra 8 sale, I picked up free Ivan 7, the Nerds bundle, and Genevieve 7 Pro Bundle.

    The great thing is, much of the G3 content works great on the G8 figure. G3 was/is my fav figure, but G8 is becoming more and more my main figure, especially since textures, clothing and poses and even morphs now work pretty good on her with little to no help.

    The worst part about the release of any new figure is the creation of new content drys up very fast for the old figure. So no matter how much a user loves a certain figure, you had better hope you have enough content for them when a new one replaces them. Luckily G3 isn't suffering from this with the latest sickleyield release allowing G8 clothing to work on G3, so it looks like G3 will be around quite a bit longer than expected.

    I think G3 is going to have a tenure second only to V4.

    Yeah, I think G3, and because of it, G8 will be used for a loooong time :)
