dForce question. My collision with floor not working.

Hi. I tried the tutorial where I put the Angeloi skirt on the g8 female. I did everything, and ran the simulation, and it worked...with one issue. There is no collision with the ground taking place. Is there some setting I need to apply to the floor object to turn it into something the cloth should collide with? Thank you!

Nevermind...I had it set to single frame. Working fine now!

I'm glad you got that sorted… Two things:

One. In the spirit of KA's Ghost Lights, you can use a plane primitve for the floor, set the opacity to 0.0001, and you now have an invisible surface for the item to collide with. It makes viewing the finished simulation from any angle really easy.

Two. I just bought Angeloi. I'd love a link to that tutorial!

Shibashake has a tutorial on thinkdrawart that uses the Angeloi. Not sure if that's the tutorial mentioned but anyway here's the link https://thinkdrawart.com/daz-studio-dynamic-cloth-dforce-tutorial-for-beginners

Thank you. That's a well written tutorial, too. Well, Shibashake. Of course it's well written.
