    Wow.  Was not expecting Edward.  And so close to Alexandra as well!  I love the character and I can make use of most of the pro bundle as well.   Into the cart he went. Great Job Daz!

    I had actually been holding off on Alexandra due to a plan to save up a bit more for March Madness sales this year but then someone posted a render showing Alexandra paired with Edward and then I took another look at her char and pro bundle.  I should not have done that.  I really should not have done that. Oh well.  At least her introductory deal was still working.  

    So much for saving up for March Madness.  

    On the other hand, 8 pro bundles and six add-on items for the price of 2 pro bundles is not a deal to sneeze at.  I’m sure I can find something to do with those centaurs at some point ????

    I did only get the base figure I can't really afford the pro bundle at the moment.

    He is very well done and mixes nicely with other charaters, I've mixed in a bit of Darwin Mishaps's Giuseppe.

    I’ll be frank. I have been disappointed with the clothing included with Edward so far. I was really hoping I might find something I like but so far the outfits all dforce aren’t to my taste or I’m having trouble with some aspect . I’m going to test the rest of the bundle out and calculate whether it is cheaper to keep for the few items I can use vs the ones I may never and possibly return it and buy alacarte.

    I've had the same reaction so far. The paper thin outer garments just don't look right in the renders I've done so far. I still have a lot of products in the bundle/purchased addons that I haven't tried yet, though.

    Also I think I like how Finn's skin looks better there than in some of the other images, will need to try out different letting an tweaking the settings...

    To me, I get more value from just buying the base character morphs and the skin textures, than the clothing.  Clothing I'll buy if/when I need it.

    Thanks @AlmightyQUEST .  I didn't change any skin settings - they're out of the box.   I just swapped his painted eyebrows with Redz falsies and added a suitable hair colour.  The body shape's all mine, but his head is a mix of mine, Finn and Edward.

    We don’t get a lot of male content so I sort of rely on bundles to beef out my existing library. I really loved Owens content mostly. But so far I don’t love dforcable male clothing for mostly the reasons Barbult has stated.

    I found that the dForce Warrier King outfit worked well, even in this challenging crouching pose. The cape geometry might be one of those paper thin things, but the texture and dForce results make it look OK to me, even in the close render I did. So based on this quick test, yes from me for this Luthbellina Nikisatez outfit.

    Edward with a few morphs. I shrunk his eyes (again!...When is Daz gonna make a figure that doesn't have enormous eyes?! LOL), plus a partial Shimuzu head morph. A little bit o post too.

    Hair and beard are Laticis freebies for Genesis 2 Male, which fit nicely. Each one is doubled with the second one scaled ever-so-slightly different and colored just a bit differently. Super Natural eyebrows.

    He looks great. I like his expression. Yeah I tend to shrink eyes as well.

    Wouldn't that be down to the material settings? Not the mesh or anything like that? It may just be that collectively people are still working out the best settings for material.     This is why. dForce has such wonky simulation that you have to use crazy lightweight fabric settings to consistently avoid explosions.

    The number of polygons in an item matter too. I couldn't get the Little Ones Shirt to drape as much as I'd like because it was low poly. It did drape without problems though.

    You're 100% right... the short version would be: dForce right now (!!!) works great with simple stuff like towels, bedsheets, capes, simple skirts and shirts and suchlike, but the more intricate the designs get, the higher is the explosion risk.

    I play around with dForce quite a bit, but the results usually aren't too satisfying (yet !!!).

    I'm loving this figuire even though he's a million miles from what I would ever noemally buy, the HD wrinkles sold me, as they look great on any character.

    Here's default Edward with Tyrone's beard and Fiore brows and also Edward with Fiore skin.

    That hair is just amazing.

    It was funny, just the other day I wanted hair that I couldn't find any recent generation version of, something high widow peak and swept back. Poked at doing it in fibermesh... then that came out and it's PERFECT

    I have so many of Redz hairs....lol. They're a must-have now :) This hair in particular, the hairs themselves look really fine and soft.

    If I'm rendering a guy, chances are great he's wearing a Redz hair, Redz SuperNatural Brows and Redz body hair. LMAO. Maybe even Redz Lashes!

    What I'm wondering if it has/is composed of varying more sparsely populated fibre mesh hairs that you can choose different colors for to make a salt & pepper effect? That is what she has done there or something different?

    Okay, my two-cents' worth. I think Edward is the best looking figure DAZ has come up with yet. He's the most realistic I've seen so far. This stuff just keeps getting better and better. I love that we're getting some more mature, real people. The world can't be populated by post-teenage people only. It's nice to see some older people. I hope to see more like this. Kudos, DAZ!!!
