Fit Control for Genesis 3 Female(s)

Will this work for G8?

Does his stuff for both G3 and G8? Or, need to buy both versions?

    No (G8 and G3 are different generations. These are morphs. You would have to manually transfer the morphs from G3 to G8 to make it work on G8).

    You would usually buy the set for each generation and each gender, as there are custom shapes specifically tailored to each generations's set of polygones.

    If you take an earlier generation clothing item and fit it to that generation, use fit control, then fit the cloting item to G8, the fit control morphs will still be in the cloting item and can therefore be used.

    I did this with G2 clothing, fit to G2F, using the G2F fit control, then fit the clothing to G8 and the clothing still had the G2F fit control morphs.

    this is just for the fit control part (at least I think it was part of the question) since those morphs affect the clothing and not the figure. The morphs that affect the figure can only be used on the figure it was made for unless you transfer the morphs which may or may not work correctly.

    You probably should make your question a bit more clear, as it can be read several ways.  If the first question is whether Glute and Breaqt control for G8F will work on G3 females, the answer is no. 

    If the second question is whether Fit Control for G3F will work on G8F, the answer is also no. 

    As to the third question, there are SOME Zev0 products that work across several generations, such as the skin builder products, but all of the morph-based one are base figure specific. There are workarounds such as the one kotkbliss mentions that will give you some funtionality, but there will be at least some level of mismatch between the different morph sets.
