Minami HD - Wow!

RareStone has not disappointed me yet and her new character Minami HD has made me very happy! Lovely character! yes

Here she is pretty much "out of the box" (just minor morphs to her eyes). 

Here she is with some minor skin setting adjustments. 

I'm really happy with the morphs and everything - she's just such a great character!

And that HAIR! It's one of the best looking hair I've seen! The fact that this great looking character comes with such beautiful hair makes purchasing her a must-have for me! Well done, @RareStone ! heart

    I was wondering, who? Where?

    Then realised I hadn't looked at today's offerings; PC membership expired, so not buying as I've not been tempted by the offers for a new subscription.

    ... And it's nice to save some cash. :)

    She looks great, but I avoid longer hair that doesn't have bones in; they give far more options imo.

    The hair has over 120 adjustment morphs - it's amazing! It's my new favorite hair by a LONG shot! :)

    This character and hair have shot to the very top of my favorites list!

    Oh, I just checked - the hair has quite a few bones! :) There are quite a few areas that are sectioned off and each has their own bones.

    To be honest I'm not seeing anything out of norm, skin looks very similar to Pei's as does the face and body nothing that couldn't be done by dial spinning, if there had been some interesting or unusal makeup/body colour options I might not feel that its just another version of the same. I guess Pei was a success and the vendor's wary of deviating from that, shame really I feel that they are capable of way more.

    Oh, I just checked - the hair has quite a few bones! :) There are quite a few areas that are sectioned off and each has their own bones.

    Thank you; in wish list. I don't have Pei, although she is also wishlisted; not sure I'll get both, but the hair option is cool, and as there are bones. I'm tempted... I'll think about it for a day or two.:)

    Thank you for the "out of the box" renders, Diva. As good as the promos look, they are heavily postworked. That makes it hard to see what Minami really looks like.

    I kind of love Rarestone and their habit of including an excellent prop with every character. And the other products all seem to have ‘super-deluxe’ stamped on them. I didn’t really pay close attention until Sakura (which I feel shows plenty of range) but now, well, they may become my first Must Buy character/related vendor. 

    (She also doesn’t look much like Pei to me? I wonder if this is a trained-eye thing.)

    Agree. I dont think Minami looks like Pei. Pei looks like a video game girl. Minami is a cute Korean/Japanese idol.

    And RareStone's promos are superb!!!

    Well if you like the prop - personally I'm not very fond of the Pei Suit (not complaining about the quality which seems OK, just don't like that style and I'm probably not the only one). If you add an extra prop to a character, be sure it's something of both good quality and which everyone can use (the Minami hair is fine IMO). One thing is that you pay for something you may not want, another is that you may give the artist the impression that you like it if you buy the product anyway just for the character, and then they may just create more addons of the same type.

    hahah Thank you, ALLIEKATBLUE! :) I'm not sure about "famous skin shader", but they're from a skin shader system I'm working on that I'll be releasing in the store once it's finished. :)

    I was teasing you, by the way. However, I do not see Pei and Minami as almost identical at all, or are you trying to say that all East Asians look alike? (teasing again) But you don't see the distinction between this hair and the other hairs available either? This is one of the popular hairstyles of K-pop princesses. I think RareStone made it because those that were similar failed to mimic that particular style sufficiently.

    I think that the hair and the character are both a pretty big step up from the "average character" that gets released. Anyone who says "the face and body nothing that couldn't be done by dial spinning" isn't looking right and probably should have their eyes examined. lol There are great HD realism details and morphs with this character that can definitely not be achieved with "dial spinning".

    What I meant is every character that comes out, you have a special tweak to the skin that is sort of your trademark.  You have given some as freebies but I am glad you are making some for the shop

    well in life many people share similar features some even look a lot alike I have a few myself  same goes with hairstyles it's just that little difference that sets some hair styles apart if we just used one basic version of each main type of hairstyle we'd quickly run out but one hairstyle can have so many variations not really explaining myself too well so hope you get what I'm saying. Anyway think Minami looks really nice plus you get a nice hair think I'll have to get her and I like Pei might get her later though + again you get extra stuff too bonus, Rarestone does have some good stuff. Lately to me been so many nice ladies and other products being reeased hard to decide what to leave till another time and can afford gotta try and get now - though Minami is up there

    you never can tell by a name or avatar some you think are a she are really are a he and vice versa and then there are some that are actually a few under the one name. Anyway he/she/they are talented in several areas
