So I broke "Flex Quad Right", anyone have a fix?

Long story short, I started making some poses with G8 and when I was going through checking for mistakes I saw on several poses "Flex Quad Right" and started zeroing it out thinking it was unnecessary, (I hadn't ever seen it on G3) then re-saving the poses.

It turns out (cut me some slack, I just started using G8 frown that "Flex Quad" is apparently VERY necessary, and now when I wnet back and used these poses it made my characters legs look like mangled, err, things that look wierd when they're mangled...

I figured out that resaving the poses with "pose controls" unchecked would remove the mistake from the pose file (I think) but the figure is now permanently broken and resetting the Flex Quad Right pose control doesn't seem to actually reset it. Reseting the figure to the A pose doesn't help either, when I move the knee, sausage leg returns...

Has anyone else seen this/figured out how to fix it?

Check the default value on the slider - click the gear icon on its right end and then Parameter Settings.

I did that and it does have some problems in the settings like "Use Limits" is unchecked, but re-checking that doesn't completely fix it as the slider seems to be out of "alignment" with the knee bend, if that makes sense. Also the reset option on the slider just resets it to the broken value defined in the broken pose.

Is there a drop down menu option to force the figure back to pose defaults? Just resetting the figure pose isn't doing it.

In parameters, there's 'zero figure' and 'zero figure shape'.

Or just add the figure again from scratch and use it...or save it as 'shaping preset' and apply the shaping preset to the pre-existing figure you're attempting to fix.

If somehow the base figure itself got messed up, I suppose you could always uninstall/reinstall to fix it.

I had a similar problem with some poses in a set distorting the figure, there is a thread about it here if that is of any help:
