Making things look...well, right.

Sorry if this is a stupid question or anything, but I'm extremely new to Daz and I'm not understanding why when I make either people or interiors, they don't seem to look anything like the pictures of the products (will post an example). How do I sort this?

That is just the preview, not a render (Render>Render).
