What are the production pitfalls in creating a nice cape for super-hero types in DAZ? This would be an instant purchase for me and may actualy force me to update DAZ versions. :)

like this one? https://www.daz3d.com/da-dforce-super-villain-armor-for-genesis-8-males
I'm not sure I would call that one "nice". It's... peculiar.
And I second this. The older capes just are not very dForce friendly, I know because I've tried with most of them.
I just need a cape. Don't need the armor its attached too. I need a supermanand batman type cape.
I've certainly considered a general dForce cape pack, but I always assumed that was Sshodan's wheelhouse.
I'm interested in capes, not for superheroes, but for period pieces. Hooded cloaks, shawls, all that sort of thing that isn't really handled well by plain ol' morphs.
Capes are just fine, so long as you ensure that the attachment points are sufficiently weak. If Thunderhead's cape had been properly designed, that missile would have just torn it clean off.

The more capes, the better. I like having a selection. :)
Pretty sure there is going to be more than one to choose from.
I am so desparate for all kinds of capes! I Will pay double if its compatable to all genesis generations.
A dForce-enabled cape should work on any figure if you just position it around the figure's neck area first. I mean assuming it has enough morphs in the shoulder area to unclip it.
There is a old Poser Dynamic cape that works very well in dforce.. If you do a google search for ODS Dynamic Long Cape you will come across this cape..
There are many others from TerryMCG on ShareCG..
