There's a fire and flames thing. You could probably put dForce on it and reduce the gravity so it flows up and flickerates.

Yup, just tried it. Stick a wind node up its bottom and set the Density to 450 and dynamics strength to 0.9. Move the wind node up and down along the timeline.

Nerds3d has animated smoke and flames tool for poser which works in daz . in fact I bought my flame and smoke tool set here at daz.   i use it all the time. its kind of dated but it still works

heres a couple of animations using it so you can see how it looks  to see if its something you can use.

Yeah Nerds tools are kinda of old and it is 2d. but its still does the job. I guess it depends on the type renders your doing its looks great in renders that are toons base .. but if your looking for photo-relaistic  then its properly not what your looking for . and should use something like after effects or blender.

for realistic effects I use sapphire by boris fx..  I have a year subscription for sapphire  which is a effects plugin for Adobe premeire, which also works in premiere elements. and a few other videos editors    they have some nice effect. but it is a subscription .
