Hi guys!

First of all thank you all for supporting me for my first product in the dForce Master Series! It went out as such a big boom (and many problems) and I am really happy some loved it laugh

And now, let's welcome my second dForce product I have developed for the almighty dforce engine - Cloth Simulation Presets for dForce Cloth Engine, or ClothForce wink, now in store!

Store Teleportation Now!

Please leave a comment on what you think and if you got any questions!

Have you ever created the perfect scene, with the perfect materials, just for it to be ruined by unrealistic folds on your clothes?

Have you ever tried to play with the brand new dForce Engine, but there are simply too many parameters?

Have you ever wanted to simulate clothes other than dresses or skirts, but have no clue how to start?

Have you ever hoped that dForce will work on older generations of clothes?

Now, the frustration is over!

Introducing the second product of the dForce Master Series - dForce Cloth Simulation Presets!

The simulation presets is designed to minimize the complexity of the dForce engine, to as easy as simple click of buttons, and to maximize the compatibility of the older generation clothes, from Genesis 3, Genesis 2 or even earlier, that are not dForce supported!
Apply the presets on dresses, skirts, tights, pants, corsets, shirts, or any other clothes you can think of, and watch them simulate, just like in real life!
You can be adventurous and attempt crazy art and animations that were never possible before, or you can be simple, making your clothes fold, and rest on just any surfaces!

The product also comes with a detailed, image based tutorial on how to simulate your clothes in dForce Engine!
It's time to exceed the boundaries of dForce Engine, and go on a brand new journey with dForce Cloth Simulation Presets!

Here's some promos for you all! Enjoy! wink

Sounds interesting - amongst all the goodies inherent in this product will there be 'simple' options for 'make denim', 'make silk', etc., for a range of fabric types to simulate teh differences in materials?

Yup, I can make use of this.  Looking forward to the release!

Yes! Well instead of having the materials (silk, demin, etc) which might be hard to figure out which one fits the outfit, the product will have different presets for different part of the outfit like jeans, dress, skirts, shirt, hoodie, tights, etc. and among them there will be things like loose skirt, tight skirt for you to choose from, so should be pretty straight forward!

  • Is there a preset to move skirts? like in with some skirts they have a wind morph

  • dForce has a Wind modifier for that.

To move the skirt what you need is a skirt preset and a wind node (which can be found in “create” tab in your Daz, it will be a fan like prop which you can direct and choose the wind intensity!

however you might want to paint some weightmap before using the wind node, otherwise it’s possible for your dress to explode...

  • Thanks EchV0, looks very awesome. Seems easier than Dhair for me to use.

On a future we need another extra script that rides all together: boobs, hair and clothing to move naturally depending on movement of bones with easy presets.

  • Thank you for the hair product!

This looks really cool, too--has it been tested with pants?

    Greetings,

Hrm; it sounds interesting, but I'm also in the camp of, 'I want a material that (e.g.) responds like denim; no stretch, stiff-ish folds, etc.', or 'stiff leather', or 'light silk', with their respective fabric-responses, rather than a clothing-type specific 'jeans', because I might be applying the fabric parameters it to a skirt, or a denim jacket.

I'm going to guess you're doing cool stuff with templated weight-mapping of the dforce settings to match what items of each kind of clothes usually need.  Which is an awesome idea, and you've probably got a great product, but it sounds like it's not the product I need, unfortunately.

It'd probably be a great counterpart/complement to the product I do need, though...

Exploding dresses sounds like an interesting undress-option feature devil

Yes Dhair is a lot harder because dForce engine wasn't built for it, cloth however, is exactly what the dForce is for so it should work a lot better and a lot less bug laugh

I did build the whole product aiming to work on both genders! Tho I don't have that many male outfits I can try on but if you have any trouble with any male clothings, let me know and I will push up an update wink

Yeah I understand what you need here, I would say right now you will be able to apply different presets onto the same piece of clothing, just without the material specification. Say you can put a Jeans preset onto Shirt to make it more demin like, or a shirt preset onto Jeans to make it fold more etc. Most of the presets are still based on the core material of that particular outfit (demin - Jeans, silky - Dress, Leather - Jacket, etc) so you can swap around as you see fit :)

Sadly I can't do something weight map specific, as it will only be able to apply on the outfit I did weightmap on (yup, it can not be transferred, yet), so right now it is pretty much presets based on how they behave in bends, with gravity, etc

HAHA! You all you need is to turn every single parameter to 1 and it's a guaranteed explosion I assure you wink tho you might want to buy some kind of waranty with your computer provider first LOL

Can I apply it to a chain or rope tied to wrists or legs?

If it is connected to the geometry, yes you can, however if it's not it will fall to the ground sad

  • Looks fascinating.

Could this product be used on something like a wizard's cloak that includes a hood? Would that utilise one of these presets or a multiple?
