I have a 980Ti, and ran the simulation as a quick test yesterday at highest settings, and it took quite a while with the card working at full force.

But I haven't tested on lower settings yet, and CPU.

Thank you BeeMKay for your reply. I do not have anywhere near the graphics card you have (Which you say took quite a while) on my 'gas powered' ancient iMac so will conclude that there is no way this will run on my machine. sad

    Kind regards.

  • Which version of DS is this - Help>About daz Studio? The current is 4.10.0.123, dForce has been changing as updates are issued.

    My version is 4,10,0,107

i had 4.10.0.123 before but My DAZStudio was crashing too often with this version so i have  reinstalled the.107

If you are confident that is the source of my problem ,i will try again the ..123

  • Not confident, but it seems fairly likely since the leavse are draping (as far as I can tell) for most people in 4.10.0.123. You could always use the public beta if you want to hedge (so to say) your bets.

I have installed yesterday the version 4.10.0 123 and encounter the same problem with dynamic trees and DAZStudio still crashing  too often again

I reintall the version .107 , more stable on my system and wait for another update

You probably are running out of memory. After you load the scene in the Render Settings set Optimization to Memory

On your video card that memory although it should fall back to 32GB RAM to CPU OK unless your scene is really big and you run out on CPU RAM too.
