Karyssa 8 with her ears dialled out and the breasts size reduced.
She's mad mad cute, but is she really that different from the other really cute elfish characters that have come before? And it is doubly odd to me that we get yet another stylized character before a "real" base Asian character. Are they really that in demand?
I'm only considering her because of all the other bundles on offer. But then again, that's a ton of elfish stuff that I'm not big into. I might just get the base by itself. Or maybe nothing at all. I've got other Dazzy things on my list I'd like to get, like Map Manager.

I think demand for highly-stylized characters is going to grow as a percentage compared to realistic characters, not recede. I will be buying Karyssa 8 after getting Mika 7 Pro Bundles and Isabella 7 Pro Bundles in that Thanksgiving goof-up (or at least it may of been, who knows?) and being very pleasantly surprised at how much I liked them.
This one I dialled her ears back in. The breast size still reduced though. :)

Great renders @divamakeup If I had any doubts about getting the character, they're gone now! I do hope they will release a male character in her style.

Here is a quick render of Karyssa. I just installed her and not all her stuff yet. I thinks she's really cute. This is her out the box no tweeking at all. I really like her skin, very lovely. Can't wait to try the other characters and the clothes and hair.

Thank you so much for doing this and all the other blended examples. I think I'll end up picking her up after all. I just don't like the clothes in her bundle.
I love this picture of Karyssa. She really is cute and the perfect style, in this form, for my comic characters.
I hate to say it, but I think after some 20 years of this that I'm suffering from Thorne-exhaustion ;). Had to happen sometime I guess...lol.

The extra 25% off for having those is only off the Pro Bundle, not the Starter or Base.
I will definitely be getting Karyssa or her Pro bundle when it's on deep discount. I wish I liked the clothes and stuff in the Pro bundle enough to buy her now. But... still waiting for Mei Lin, and hoping against hope for Sakura's brother, so I have to save my pennies.
What hair is this? It is used in the Karyssa character thumbnail within Daz.
For a change I really like both of the hairs in the Pro bundle. Usually I am either lukewarm about them, or like one and not the other.
Not wildly enthralled by the outfits. All nice of their type, but I have enough of a stockpile of fairy gear that I don't have a burning need for that type. Admittedly, the Wild Nettle is attractive, but I can't see any eathly reason why the Nimble Elf getup needed to be dForce compliant, and the others don't really look like they would kitbash that well.
The character is classic Thorne, and a salutary reminder of why her stuff is so popular. And they mix so well.
Looking at the renders in this thread is the crosseyed problem something that only happens when you dial in another morph or is it a problem on the base Karyssa.

If you relate to my renders, it can be, that I have used Look At Me Pose Control, to make the character look at the camera.
Could you please elaborate a little more on that problem - looking again at my renders, I do not see it.

My fellow 3Delighters may want to know that Karyssa's 3Delight materials use the omHumanSurface shader rather than the AoA_Subsurface.
I wasn't that fond of most of the Pro bundle, but there are enough items in the "get 3 bundles free" offer to make it worth my while. It'll keep me happily kit bashing for a while.
Sorry but yes your renders do seem to highlight the problem, the irises of the eyes are both turned inwards towards the nose. The one with Sakura 50% and Karyissa 50% is where it seems most pronounced, I think it may be the mixing.
I caved. Between the overwhelming cuteness and sensible (for a fairy) footwear along with some really nice hair products I was sorely tempted. But then the deal gets sweetened by the extra 10% for purchasing the Blithe hair (also gorgeous and eminently useful in what I create) and it gets even harder to resist. Finally the three pro bundles (that I did not have anything but one single hair item from) and the breaking point was reached. So much kit-bashing fun lies ahead and Karyssa will be fun to blend into the gene pool as well. Thank goodness I get paid this week.
