    I'd like to see 60s and 70s era balloon sleeves, bell bottom jeans, tie-dye t-shirts, and other clothing. Or have I missed those somewhere in the DAZ Store's giant catalogue?

    Do either of you have any G8M stuff? The message I got (and it's still there on my Messages page) says I got my 30% discount for owning certain G3M and G8M products.

    My message said the same thing but I don't have any G8 Male bundles, maybe that's it. I guess I never will be getting any G8 Male bundles... Anyway right now my cart is filled with G3M stuff that I'm trying to whittle down. I'm still not really into G8 but missed the Kenji 7 bundle and would have gotten that...

    Ah, Ok , makes sense. Since I'm not really into G8 males anyway, I'll just catch up on G3 males and make my own G8 males if I want to use them. I really still don't see the point of the G8 line except for maybe Sakura and Dolly which I'm sure they could have done for G3. I finally today just started using G3 males after only using females forever!

    Work in progress render that I stopped - I'm trying a lot of face morphs trying to bring out more Adam Driver features. More work to do, but the potential is there.

    I went and punched the purchase button. Very good deal, all the bundles together is 5.6 gigs. I didn't yet have a Male character yet for G3 or G8 so now this checks off quite a few. Now my library has some diversity  smiley Oh wait, I did just get Willis for G3 so I guess G8 will be the last. lol

    AllenArt, you've always got the best lighting.  Nice render.

    I'm enjoying Owen way more than Lucas or Michael 8.  When I first loaded him, I got the same out-of-the-box thrill that I got with Leo, Elijah and Darius 7.  Now that we've gotten the pretty guys and waifs out of the way, where are the next gen athletic Lee/Leo/Scott types?

    I have to give credit where credit is due...ThePhilosopher has the best lighting...lol. I just borrow it from time to time :P The lights are from the BOSS Pro light set :).

    Wow, that makes me want to get him! Best render yet! But my coupon was only for 15% off and there's only one male bundle I don't have so not really worth it to me...

    Very nice in deed! What did you use for the scarf? Is that the texture he came with? My own expermints so far hasn't used Owen's base texture.

    Anyone else notice that Owen 8 thumbnail image isn't working in Smart Content?  Mine is just a White tile.  Also, Chuck for Gen 8 is just showing exclamation tile.

    Yep, I've noticed that. There's a couple of others I got over the last few months that are also missing thumbnails.

    Has anyone noticed that Owen 8's arms don't match his torso? I loaded the Owen 8 figure straight from Smart Content with no changes. I rendered once with the default HDRI rotated 45 degrees and once with the default sun-sky. In both cases, there is a distinct line between his arms and torso, exactly where one surface ends and the other begins. The distinct line is most visible on the side where the light is shining.

    There is also geograph demarcation boundaries at the Anatomical Elements & Torso in Genesis 8, some characters more than others.

    I believe the problem with the mismatch between the arms and torso is that the image gamma of the arms Dual Lobe Specular Reflectivity is set to 0 instead of 1. The image gamma of the other skin Dual Lobe Specular Reflectivity is correctly set to 1. I have submitted a bug report.

    Edit: Arms bump map gamma is also incorrectly set to 0. All the rest of the skin has the bump map gamma set to 1.

    I'm attaching a render made after correcting the gamma on the arms.

    Did you install via DIM or DazConnect?  I did through DazConnect and my copy of Owen has the correct settings:

    I installed Owen 8 with Daz Connect, too. I bought only the base product, not either bundle. How about you? I wonder if that makes any difference.
