My price works like a charm. 15% off applied, PC coupon applied ... until I put Elijah into the cart too, because whern I put Elijah 7 Pro Bundle, it is on 100%, but Owen 8 Pro Bundle jumped back and now it is $4 more than before I put the free Elijah. Interesting.

it's a known glitch with the coupon. free items eat a portion of it, even though they shouldn't. Your options are to not use the coupon with a purchase that includes a free item, or to purchase and ask customer serevice to refund the part that didn't apply.

Adding the monthly DO coupon screwed up my cart even more than that. But as I was writing a post in the other thread about problems with deals, I took the coupon out to check the original prices, and then when I added the coupon back again it worked properly. So you're not the only one, but dunno if it will be fixed for you too. :shrug:

Edit: Although in your case it sounds more like the bug mentioned by DaWaterRat just above.

I still haven't used any of my G3 men, and I'm not really into the G8 guys so far. I did buy a bunch of G8M morphs and think I'll be happier making my own guys for G8 if I ever get around to it. But I'm noticing some interesting older G3 guys in today's sale. Unfortunately no one has created the type of guys I will want eventually for my graphic novel, so looks like I will have to do it myself from scratch. So far my favorite male character is still M4. He looks manly and is not body waxed like so many newer males. I also like Elijah for his quirkiness, but have not seen a G8 male yet that interests me, although if I had to pick one, it would be Darius.

In all respects I still prefer the G3 line, and I have tons of them, and G2, G1, V/M 4.... I will probably continue with a few G8F characters here and there, but nothing G8M except morph kits has really interested me, except Darius wich was too expensive. I really think it was a mistake jumping the gun on G8. I'm finding I purchase MUCH more for G3 than G8...

I honestly don't know where people are getting that he looks like Adam Driver to me. He doesn't look like Adam Driver at all to me, but I don't recognize anyone -even famous people- unless they have very distinct features. Adam Driver does (big nose, large lips, and a very squoval jaw line) but Owen barely has any of those.

I'm wondering the same thing. But the price was $66.13 before I got the orange banner for the additional 30%. Now I have the banner, but the price remains the same. I think it's not applying.

So does the $66 include the orange banner? And your orange banner is 30%?

I didn't see the banner last night, but it showed up today. Went from $66 to $56.21.

The Brodie Bundle is pretty disappointing, you're right.. 5 product (ok the price is less I know, but as it is in the free offer today, it's not a good choice ^^)

Anyway, Brodie is not a bad character, but like you @sapat, I don't render very much this genre, the only time I was required to rendering Teen Justin (by example) was for a friend that she love the character face.. lol.

So... Now, I will be busy, must sort off all my purchases ! :o

About Kenji 7 / Kimo 7 - for me it was a Kenji-Lucian problem :) In Kimo I like the Makani character, but I usually don't render with the older figures. I am not interested in the rugby stuff. Kylan hair .. that would be a massive "I need this", but I already have it. The 2 warrior outfits looks great, but for me, those would be needed for promos and the one of them has only lower parts, so I dropped it. But Lucian and Kenji both has cool outfits. The final thing why I decided to get Kenji, because I am in sci-fi mood lately so there was the Galactic Armor, and the Suneko outfit combined with the Rainstorm outfit looks lovely as I see on Kenji 7 store thumb. And also liked the Arcane summoner, so for me that was 4 useful outfits and fun poses.

And if you want to pair with your other characters ...even if Kimo looks much better than Kenji, Kenji has the unique look to be a great pair with Aiko, but for a Kimo-like character, you can recolor skin, put some tattoos and make some tweak with head morphs and use the strong body, so you can pair with Kalea. So for me .. characters look better in Kimo bundle, hairs are better in Kimo bundle, however clothes and poses are more versatile in Kenji bundle.

I'm still on the fence about getting the pro bundle, BUT I might do it just to get two pro bundles I don't owe for free (every other bundle I either owe or have most of the things in their respective bundle). Right now I have in my cart...

Elijah 7 -- I'd only bought two outfits from his bundle before, so at least that's a good one.
Kimo 7 -- I have all the other males PRO bundles and I only wanted Kimo to get Makani (really like his look. Reminds me of Jason Momoa... so yes, yes, yes!)
Teen Jayden 6 -- meh, but not a lot to chose from.
Freak 5 -- I already have most of his bundle, but well... will be getting that Hulk texture, I guess haha.

I own all the Pro bundles already, so when I put it in my cart and didn't see a discount, I waited until this morning...saw an additional 30% discount and pulled the trigger. (After adding the other outfit.) I'm not messing with the textures right now; I'll look into those in 60+ days. The majority of clothes seemed a bit too shrink-wrapped, but with dForce I can potentially fix that anyway.

He TOTALLY has the Kylo Ren/Ben Solo look to me. Hit him with a angsty/mad look, and a bit of a scar, and we'd be in business... Which makes sense (from a commercial perspective); right now that's a particularly popular look, because the character is...beloved by a particular population.

As the parent of a nascent (7 years old) likely-to-be goth, I approve of Owen 8. :)

I ended up with Kenji 7, Gianni 6, and Teen Jayden. The only other one I don't own is Kimo 7, which I really like, but I thought Kenji's bundle might be more useful for my fantasy renders and he goes so well with Aiko 7. I already had Elijah 7.

FWIW with the "extra discount not showing in the cart" thing, this seems to be a consistent glitch for some time. I noticed the orange banner when I logged in this evening, put Owen into my cart... and didn't see the extra discount in the cart list, although the cart total at the bottom did show a lower price. Same thing in two different places on the same page, two different prices. A couple of hard page reloads fixed it.

<sigh> Would we really have been worse off sticking with the old pre-Magento store software...?

Quick test render of Owen 8. His skin has a nice sheen to it. Everything is default exept translucency, which is the medium setting with normal maps on. No postwork or tweaking, just out of the box. (Click and zoom in for more detail.)

I wonder if this the David replacement. I have to say I like this skinny boyish guy. I wouldn't date him but I think he ads something to the gene pool. I'm glad the nose isn't that cute smallish nose. It's got a nice shape, sort of reminds me of that actor that starred in "Chuck" tv show... sort of! lol

While I already have Owen 8, when the orange banner showed up PLUS the free pro bundles Daz made me a deal I couldn't refuse. lol So I'm probably going to pull the trigger on the pro bundles - it's a great deal!

I already have Elijah 7 pro bundle. So I'll probably pick: Kenji 7, Gianni 6, and Teen Jayden 6 to go along with the Owen 8 pro bundle. 4 bundles for the price of one PLUS an orange banner discount. That's just too good of a deal to pass up on. :)
