Some of the renders in the promo actually make me think of one my neighbors, the face and body type that is. Was one of the first things I reacted to I must admit *chuckles* somehow I don't think I'm going to tell him that though lol
Other than physique, he does look a lot like Tom Hardy ;)

I was really looking forward to a Mei Lin 8 or maybe an update to one of the older males, I wonder why they are creating new figures that look and have a similar vibe. I find him too close to Lucas 8, and I have Elijah 7, so..probably won't pick him up. Wish there was more a of a heavier build, and something medieval or sci fi themed..and he's more expensive for me than the other "8's" I purchased..

Not my favourite character, but I actually really like all 3 outfits and I've wanted the two free pro bundles for ages. Plus I desperately need G8 anatomical elements. Does anyone know if the G8 mats will work on G3 gens?
We've been asking for everyday clothes in Pro Bundles, and Alt Style Outfit and Hipster Outfit fit that bill to me. Street Style Outfit with multiple textures gives me a believable pushed-up-sleeved t-shirt finally. In fact, the Onyx Goth Outfit was the only one that was suspect to me. But there's a hood, and it's dForce.
I do, however, expect some kind of discount over what's offered. I haven't paid $66 for a Pro Bundle since Genesis 2. I would consider it if I got 3 other Pro Bundles for free, but that's not an option for me.
I’m hoping we get a discount on the pro bundle later today. I have all of the other pro-bundles they listed. The least they can do is give me some kind of discount (or rebate now) for having been a faithful buyer. Some of these promotions lately have made me wonder if skipping a generation is financially advantageous around here.

Agree completely about the facial hair. Especially since his is not a real stubble but has a "trying to grow a mustache but can't quite manage it" look to it. Sigh.
I wonder what Mike's skin would look like on Owen, because I do like the character (other than the upper lip annoyance).
The pants on the hipster outfit look strange to me, I guess I'm not that hip, I really had to get the texture add on to make me fancy it. I wish the street style outfit was in the bundle, but I have it and one texture set in my basket.

Yes, they will -- Base Male UV and anatomical elements default UV is the same for both G8 and G3. You may, for some G8 characters, need to save a separate materials preset for the gens, if you want to use them with G3, because a lot of vendors are only including anatomical elements mats as hierarchical materials (applies to both body and gens with one preset), and those are generation-specific.
I am liking Owen a lot, specially the urban daily wardrobe that i waited for ages to see.

I passed on Darius, I may well pass on Owen... I don't know. I am certainly not buying the Pro Bundle because those clothes are hideous. Are those of us who work in a realistic present really such a small contingent that sets like these on display are what gets offered? For god's sake, I can deal with another fantasy outfit here or there if you give me ONE thing that looks current and realistic from head to toe. Or here's a thought: stop making these wretched outfits that invariably have bits (like shoes) that look to be clunky cartoonish hack pieces and concetrate on making a single, versatile piece that I might want to buy. I'd pay for something that was versatile and realistic. I won't pay for these things on display, regardless the discount anymore. Owen 8 makes me sad.
I’m really torn. Love the base character and will at the very least get Owen and the longer hair style. The clothing in the bundle , well, I appreciate the effort. We have all been asking for more realistic and contemporary clothing and some of the offerings come close. I’m looking at all the clothing items and I can see possibilities with kitbashing .
So I definitely want to take advantage of this so I can get more male characters for my library. I am confused though why the discount isn't working right. It says get up to 4 previous Pro Bundles free. I added Kenji 7, Elijah 7 and Brodie 6 but Brodie isn't being discounted.
Anyone else having problem adding previous bundles and getting discount?
Hmm, Pro Bundle is in my cart, but no message and no extra discount showing. Not willing to pay $66 as I do have most Bundles offered for free.
I have an orange banner as of a few seconds ago, so they’re incoming.
Yeah, I already have most of the other Pro 6 Bundles, so these are the only ones I can add to cart. Which would still be a great deal if I can get the discount for all three.
So the store price is showing me 51% off which is $66.13. Is that supposed to include my additional 30% off that my orange banner is showing? That's still pretty pricey.
I own ALL the other pro bundles, so why bother putting them into the cart? Or do I have to just to trigger some further discount? I swear to God I'm so tired of jumping through layers of Daz sales hoops. Just gimme the pro bundle with a discount and be done.

I'm wondering the same thing. But the price was $66.13 before I got the orange banner for the additional 30%. Now I have the banner, but the price remains the same. I think it's not applying.
I have to say, I kinda like Owen. I'm guessing he's probably Charlotte's companion character from the look of things (especially since he's got the "beta male" vibe going, for lack of a better term). Nice to finally see some male-specific DForce items, too. I kinda wish there was a non-white character in the Pro Bundle, too, but hopefully one will be showing up in the add-ons in the next day or two.
Also, I got the orange banner for 15% off, but it doesn't look like it's registering in my cart ATM: Owen still comes up as $66 /w the default PC+ discount.
