So maybe I'm overlooking it, but are the tattoos from this promo from an older product, or one of the Owen products?

He looks like Adam Driver with all the distinctive elements sanded down.
I really hope they do not update the text on the product page from being "he is apologetically his own guy" because it seems appropriate for him! :) The more I'm looking at this the more I like it, even with the name changes that I don't really understand.

I think I like him, but I do wonder why they made two characters in the same generation as close in look as Lucas and Owen ... and then released them as back to back males, if not exactly back to back. (Lucas - Charlotte - Sakura - Owen.)

Well, this is the first genesis 8 male bundle I love from head to toe. So worth it.
I think he looks a bit like Tom Hardy.
I buy now based on which included clothing I like best combined with best hair & I still like the Darius 8 Pro Bundle best in that regard although I bought the Lucas 8 Pro Bundle instead as 2nd best because it was on sale for $29 (used $6 coupon) vs the $56 for the Darius 8 Pro Bundle.
The Owen 8 Pro Bundle comes in at $66.13 in my cart so just the regular PC+ discount and none of the deeper discounts of earlier pro bundles. The prior most expensive pro bundle was the Darius 8 Pro Bundle at $56 & change for me.

He looks great! I'm getting him once the "Free with purchase" item switches over tomorrow. I may use him to show off my path tracer.
Given the fact that one gets up to four Pro Bundles for free, I wonder what discount owners of those bundles might get. No message yet, though.
I wonder, too....I own all ..ALL.... Pro Bundles you can get for free..... :/
He looks like a mix of Darius 8 and Lucas 8, I'm not impressed.
Bit of a surprise, the long haired promo reminds me of Tim Kano from Neighbours. At least now we seem to have got away from every new character having its own UV, that got tedious!
I'm still a loooong way from diving back into this, but, it's nice to know that I'll have something cool to play with without having to go retro in order to extract any enjoyment from it.

Very nice. I wanted to increase the scale to see how nice his details were.
Thank you! :) I had to use his medium translucency setting as his default setting is too high, imo. And I adjusted the Tone Mapping to cool down his skin.

Love him but I guess I am out of luck - I don't own all the free bundles just all the ones I want. Those that are left I've no interest in (don't do toons or teens) and have bought the clothes and hair I want from them. So if a discount turns up I probably wont get it. I even used my DO coupon yesterday because I wasn't expecting a guy today.
He has a similar pretty boy look about him as the other gen 8 figures, but I like this one, his skin isnt so translucent. Looks like they're starting to hit their stride with this gen which is great to see, and terrible because 2 or 3 more of these and I may have to start investing. I just wish the kept Olympia back a while.
And I can see why! I like the characters for him too, but I haven't taken a close look to see if they offer a variety of eyebrows. I do think male characters have been getting more and more feminine with some of those. (not sure what "geeky feminine" means from a previous comment?) Anyway, nice job on the Pro Bundle, kudos to the vendors!
I sicerely came to hate these Michael 8 lips which all of the males seem to show now. And from the free bundles I own all parts which interested me already. So - won't buy.
So, when you have to set the Tone Mapping for the skin of one character, then what do you do about the rest of your scene or other characters? Composite in Photoshop?

It seems the pro bundle characters all have optional eyebrows, but is the facial hair optional too? I can't see it listed anywhere.
Doesn't look like it. That's remarkably disappointing.
