Muscularity Morphs for G8

Not sure exactly where to post this, so sorry if it's in the wrong category.

I'm wondering if anyone already has the Muscularity Morphs for G8 (https://www.daz3d.com/muscularity-morphs-for-genesis-8-female-s) and also owns Musculature HD Morphs for G3 (https://www.daz3d.com/musculature-hd-morphs-for-genesis-3-female-s) for comparison.

I'm mostly interested in finding out, does Muscularity Morphs for G8 cause poke through issues? Does it provide a good automatic flex control when posing? And finally does it has 'group sliders', i.e. the ability to define whole muscle groups (say leg, arm, upper body or even the full character)? Xenic101's Musculature HD was absolutely perfect for me, but it seems he isn't active anymore, so I'm looking for something to provide the same functionality for G8.

I know the DAZ Originals Body Morphs cause issues with poke through and so will the Muscularity Morphs because they only supply the morphs for the body not all the different clothings. DAZ Studio though is supposed to on the fly transfer morph fits to the items a character is wearing so that they fit & poke through doesn't happen (that's what the technical write up and DAZ 3D tutorials have said about such things at least).

  • My understanding is that xenic101 is planning to do them for G8.

That's the theory, praxis at least as far as G3 goes proved that it's not working as advertized (interestingly poke throughs tend to be worse if you make a figure asymetrical, like say creating a javelin thrower with more pronounced throwing arm/shoulder). At any rate Xenics Morphs worked way better then anything else I've tried.

@Daywalker, good news, someone tell him to step it up please. :)

I get poke through from muscularity morphs for men and have an outstanding ticket for it. I suspect partly it is the included hd  morphs but general I find I get more pokethrough  with Genesis 8 than precious generations. Unfortunately I don’t have the product you are asking about.

There is a small trick to poke through. Make sure the viewport and render sub levels on figure are the same before rendering so the smoothing appliesproperly at same sub level.

  • Thanks for the hint Zev. I shall keep that in mind. :)

I always had the viewport at one level lower than the render. I will try that at equal levels thanks.
