Can't lit the background

The background of this pool is dark. Although i put all type of lights behind the pool but nothing seems to lit the background. I used cube and pannels to create the pool. This is so frustrating. Any suggestions?

    If you doesn't put nothing behind the pool you can't choose nothing!
    Use a plane to make a background or use the "Environment" tab to choose an image or a color.
