Which is the preferred method for adjusting lighting intensity for HDRI scenes? ... should I control it through adjusting Environmental Intensity or Tone Mapping Exposure Value? What's the difference?

    If you want to adjust it relative to the scene lighting, use environment intensity. If you want to adjust the exposure of the whole scene together, use tone mapping.
