I have installed and uninstalled several times. I can not find the Generation X tab in the panes list and I can not find it listed in the about plugins tab. Please help.

Are you on a 32bit or 64bit computer? It has installer versions for both, and that's the only thing I can think of offhand that might be causing that issue.

You have activated the plugin with the serial number from your account?
It won't even show up in the "About Plugin" tab so I can activiate it
I submitted a ticket. But is there some way to talk to admins? I have a feeling it's just that the plugin is not updated for this version of Daz Studio, but I want to be sure that is the trouble... and if it is, shouldn't I qualify for the updated version since I bought it already? But the Generation X2 is not in my account
Which version of DAZ Studio are you running? Current release or Beta?
Oh and did you install via DIM, Connect or manually?
Generation X2 was a separate product, so there was no automatic update. I believe that Generation X should still work, but I'm not certain because I have GenX2 myself.
And are you on PC or Mac?

And you are running which version of DAZ Studio? (from menu Help----About----DAZ Studio)

Can you check that the file d3dGenX.dll actually has been installed in the plugins folder in the same place as where the DAZStudio .exe is located?
It is not there. Let me see if I can locate the file it says it should be...

Well that seems to be the problem all right.
Did you install DS4.10.0.107 via DIM too? Because DIM should put the executable part of GenX in the same place as the main DS installation.
I went to the download page to install Daz studio. I beleive the DIM handled it. I don't remember

I am having the same problem can you tell me how you got it working.
Nobody is going to help Generation X. We're wedged between two generations that vastly outnumber us. That's why we're so damned cynical.
