Has anyone picked up Candy yet, and if so would you mind posting some images of her texture applied to less toonie shapes?

Can someone who gets her, see what her skin looks like on default G8? I know the skin will fit, but as Candy is an extreme shape, I want to check that her skin/uv will work on a normal G8 figure also (ie no stretching or mismatches) Thanks!

it's one of the best looking G8 skins I've seen and I really want to make sure it works well on a non-toony non-stylized shape.
Looks like she uses the base G8F UV, so it's more than likely that the skin will work just fine on other, non-toon, G8F characters. :)
@chohole, @richardhaseltine, can you merge mine and maraich's thread asking about this? otherwise knowing me, I'll be posting back and forth in both. heh.
I figure it can, but because it was made for such a stylized exaggerated shape, I want to make sure there's no stretching - or the opposite of stretching LOL - or anything like that. Particularly around the eyes.

HA HA! I was on the fence a little too - but WHOA! is right. This skin has nuances you wouldn't expect from a 'toony' character. I'm glad I got her!

On a similar note, has anyone bought Hanna - https://www.daz3d.com/hanna-for-genesis-8-female, who wouldn't mind showing what her skin looks like on the default G8? From the promos, I'm loving the slight freckles she has on her face and chest area, and would be curious to see how she looks on the default figure.

I've been playing with Candy tonight and while I certainly am not reaching any where near Gogger's skills, I'm REALLY happy with Candy's skin! She's spectacular! I think I have just found a new favourite vendor
I agree 100%, D.Master is among my very favorite vendors at this point - love all the characters released so far! Candy is stunning, in my opinion. I would loooove to see a male character come out to match this style and level of skin detail.

I was counting on Monique 8 to give us that stunning dark skin that I've been waiting and waiting for......but after the skins we've seen so far, I've completely wiped that idea and will be happy to use Candy instead.
Hate to be the wet blanket, but she's way too glossy for me...
Glossiness adjustment is almost always a super easy adjustment to make.
And now the artist has supplied a male character, stylisticly compatible with his female characters. That's a relief.
I'm assuming that you can put any G3 or G8 skins on these. But it's good to know you don't have to jump through hoops for the morphs.
Has anyone posted any images of the vendor's characters with the morphs dialed in at varying percentages? Or are they old-style presets and not dialable?
i haven't got one ready to post, but i was playing the other day with Candy morph dialed in a little - the head and body separately - and it was ultra cute :) I'll play some more and see what I can post.
a REALLY quick one I didn't spend much time on or let finish just to show how you can mix Candy's morphs into other characters. And of course, I didn't save the scene and forgot to check "currently used" before I closed it :headdesk: so can't tell you exact percentages. Typical me. But the head is Candy with a mix of Olympia 8 and a Silver G8 character and I used Godin's eyes instead of Candy's. Also, she has eyebrow face maps and eyebrowless face maps, so I tried Olympia 8's eyebrows on her, which is why they look like slugs dancing across her forehead. (I need to get decent eyebrows methinks) But it was just to show that her head and body can be dialed into other characters as much or as little as you want.
Oh good. I was just a little concerned that the morphs were all-or-nothing presets. Which is fine if you want the extreme morph. But if you want an intermediate blend, you end up midstream of a smelly creek. (And yeah, very cute character.)
D. Master's morphs look a reminicent of Star2 to me, but don't have the same eye issues, and are more suited for *funny* renders.
His first character, AnnA, is a much less extreme morph in the same general style. I've tucked her into my wishlist for some indeterminate time in the future.
I may grab Hanna before she loses her 30% discount.
