Textile Tragedy Claims Life

Ms. Gee Eight Female had her life cut short today in a tragic accident involving her new nightshirt and a blender full of textile transforming mutagens masquerading as a smoothie. Her nightshirt suddenly gained 1500 kilograms then flew apart and swarmed her to death.

Daz Studio dForce Accident

I guess there's a learning curve to dForce surprise

It does indeed have a learning curve. But, once everything clicks, it's liberating.

It's no worse than my first experiments with Iray :)

Every complex system I've used (Optitex, VWD, LAMH) has had similarly difficult early learning periods.

If you could harness this for good you might have the beginnings of camouflage going on here

I think it might possible to use it as a home for Rat Man at least laugh

I always say it isn't a learning curve, it's a learning cliff — and we go <splat> against it like a certain coyote...

LMAO - for some reason the toes sticking out of the explosion conveys an element of surprise. cheeky Make sure that you don't have any hands or bodyparts or anything else intersecting with the mesh.

Yeah that was what struck me as funny too, LOL.

I was basically trying weird poses to see how dForce would handle it. Things were going fine until I put the plane into the scene because the nightshirt was kind of hanging down in the previous experiment. I didn't check to make sure that G8F and the Nightshirt weren't embedded in the "ground". Turns out they were. Oops!

oh good to hear its working lol - using the timeline for something like that where you have intersection helps a lot. I showed how I set up a timeline so her hand pushes into the dress at the bottom without exploding it in case it helps :)

Yes I watched that video before and it's very helpful. Thanks!. In fact it's why I bought the nightdress.  I was trying to get a feel for things with the plain default settings before trying "advanced" techniques. I did at least learn a couple of things to NOT do. :-)

Oh my god, how horrible.  I haven't tried dforce yet, not looking forward to the inevitable explosions. I am so easily frightened.

Now you have a piece of abstract art you can sell at a New York gallery. You'll make a mint. (If you need a good agent, I'm available for a 75% commission fee...)
