Same thing for me, seems to work only with new(debut) and not with still new releases, tried different items...

SO is this getting fixed today, or should I come back tomorrow? This happens EVERY SINGLE DAY. You might want to start putting a little money in the budget to have a night staff to fix these problems.

It's still not working for me.
Apparently the rules are working as intended, it was the wording on the sales and promotion page which was wrong. This has now been corrected.
The 60% off discount is only with a debut release, not 'still new' items.

Okay thanks. I suspected as much seeing as how the discounts quite deep and there aren't any $2 items in the debut section.
Yesterday late in the evening I put Tempest Hair in my cart because it was $2.09. This morning I came back to check out and it's now over $15.00! What is going on with Daz and these crazy price discounts that don't work, things in your cart that are one price and then the price changes. I think I should get the hair for the price that was listed when I put it in my cart.
I'm tired of coming here every day and things are screwed up with all these crazy convoluted discounts. Even one of the customer service ppl in an email told me it's confusing! So what gives Jack?

I suspect that you added it to your cart when it was newly released, the prices can behave oddly at that point (Daz midnight, seven AM GMT depending on the hour change).
Grrrr. yeah. I couldn't get back to my computer to get it til this morning and customer service basically said too bad so sad, shoulda got it before midnight. So I"m not buying it. I deleted it from my cart.
I think it's more a communication problem between the night folks and the daytime office staff, than it is a lack of nighttime employees, since who else would be up at midnight Mountain Time working to get the store site ready?

They need to hire better staff then. If a sale starts at 12am, then the people there should be full capable of taking care of any glitches that arise. Or they should shut the store down for an hour a night, and make sure things are running right before they go live. The cause is not my concern. All I know is that this happens every single day and there is no excuse for it. No other business could survive like this. A brick and mortar store that had false ad copy and inaccurate cash registers every day would be out of business. Can you imagine the price doubling for a cart load of groceries from the time you shop in the store to the time you're ready to checkout? It would cause riots. It would be like shopping in a banana republic where the currency is inflating as you shop. "Results, not excuses!"
Why is Winterblack Tower $32.95 now when it was $5 something all day yesterday and this morning? Just when I went to check out my cart jumped from $35 to over $70? I think I'm over this sale already.
Sounds like you caught the store when the prices were being updated.. is it showing correctly now?
Yup it's back to 5 bucks. Too stressful having to hurry up and make a purchase before the price changes. A little more than annoying too. I think I'm logging out of DAZ for now.
A nice idea, but I'm not sure if that could be made to work. From what I remember we were told way back when the current system started, part of the instability comes from the time taken for the store database to stabilise after DAZ midnight, because of the large numbers of changes from day to day during big sale promotions like the current one. Another part is that the store database changes need to propagate out from the DAZ servers to the various CloudFlare servers worldwide, and we've all seen how CloudFlare occasionally drops bits on the floor.
Question for Jack; is the above still true, or has anything changed?
I must confess, the sales now confuse me. I was going to purchase Olympia 7 for $20, but the item in my cart and it was $44. There is simply no need for all this confusion. Just put the items on sale. No more of this if-this, then-that stuff.
Ok, so tired of this. Go from page to page, check cart back to page to add someting, go back to cart and none of the sale prices are showing. But if I go back to the page, they are, and go back to the cart and they aren't. What's wrong with their site code? Maybe they need to hire a new IT guy?
Why can't Daz just do a straight up sale? Stop all the algorithms and 'stacking' of stuff. Just put something on sale. Period.
Anyone other than me having an issue all morning where the Z Femme Mystique poses are showing full price on the sale page? Then when I load some pages I get garbage letters for discount and pricing for some items like this one.
If I look at the Z Femme Mystique poses on the main store page they show at the discount, but not on the 'new and debut' page.
I believe so, yes... though I'd qualify that with it's not really my department.. it is somwhat complex that's for sure.
But your night is my day so the store would be shut an hour during my day which might be the only hour I have a chance to visit the site.
