How do you contact a creator about their probuct prior to buying it . . . looking at new Blooming Bundle but need to make sure it will work with Growing Up morphs and they didn't show product without the belt . . . so don't know if wrinkles are modeled in or if the shirt will fall loose . . . since description said 'belt prop if you want to use it'.

Am trying to tryout the Genisis product, but it is a real headache searching for things here . . . LOL . . . I mean the spinning search windows literally give me a headache . . . and looking for a hair amongst a hundred texture sets for hair is a tedious job.

No, not new to DAZ just been gone  several years taking care of Mom and then my Aunt and a lot has happened while I was gone;  I got old and grumpy!

Product support is handled by DAZ, not the vendor directly.

If the vendor is present in the forums you can always try sending them a PM, or posting in the official thread if there's one. Or you can always open a thread and ask other users who have the product.

  • If a product doesn't specifically mention something like Growing Up, it doesn't directly support it. With the newest beta, many of the issues that can occur with Growing Up and female clothing can be dealt with right in DAZ Studio.

PA's pay DAZ for customer support...so the proper person to contact is DAZ.

While alot of PA's may help were they can, generally they prefer to have DAZ handle to support, because that is what they pay them for and that DAZ is better able to track down issues regarding different sytems and such than any PA can.

Unless you mean the shop search... but inside studio, I strongly recommend creating categories. You can sort the content you bought by your very own system, and that speeds up finding things a lot. I never use Smart Content.

Generally by sacrificing a cow or goat and then performing some sort of lewd rituals on the roof or a high cliff.... Oh wait... You are talking about 3D content?... Never mind.

from what little I've looked at, I will say yes to a point. There may be a bit of a horizontal wrinkle under the chest on some figure shapes with smaller chests, tho it is not that bad. Also I noticed that Growing Up also has a new cloth fit help morph that may also help with most outfits.  So in the end I will say most outfits will have varying degrees of wrinkle under the chest dependent on the specific figure shape, it is not just Blooming, and also not just limited to Growing up (Some of the Teen Josie 8 figures also cause some wrinkles).

Blooming does ok with Growing up, and most of the TJ8 figures. Willa (in this render on the right) does have a bit of a horizontal wrinkle tho it is not as bad as some other stuff I've seen on former generations.

Ask on the forums, you'll get answers probably faster than support. (Although support is fast, it can vary.)

I didn't include Growing Up morphs because I can't afford to buy them, pretty simple.  There are morphs in the shirt to get rid of that dreaded bubble between the nipples on flat chested morphs (5 of them, in fact). And this outfit can handle very high smoothing, up to like 30 if need be, but if you put it that high and leave it on base shape matching it'll put the breasts back in so changing it to generic and using like 10 itteration or so should work.  That high of smoothing might introduce pokethrough elsewhere, but that's why I included so many adjustment morphs.  Joys of developing for a figure so early in its lifespan, going to be tons of  characters made that it needs to fit down the line.

The belt is a seperate item but the shape is still there on the shirt below.  I whipped up a morph that will smooth it out, it automagically changes the smoothing type to generic when you dial it up.

There is a very slight shadow on the texture under the belt, it's most obvious on the rose colored one, probably best using a shader preset on the main part of the fabric if it's noticable, it has its own material zone, of course.

Is there a way to get rid of that bubble on the figure itself? I've scuplted a young character that I want to submit to Daz, however that awful bubble between her non-existant breasts is so ugly.

Once DAZ oficially releases 4.10 with dForce, this won't be a problem, as the use of the dynamic cloth sim can fix it.

Not really out of the box, 'cause it's going to be different for every item of clothing you put on her depending on how the cloth bridges the clevage vs hugging the skin.  Sickle Yield's fixer morphs include a bunch that handle it, but you'd have to do it like she did - a hand full of them that can be dialed up as needed.

You have to make a projection morph for your girl. https://sickleyield.deviantart.com/journal/Tutorial-Creating-Dialed-Projection-Morphs-482940785

Thank you, @Fisty and @agent unawares. I think the projection morph is going to be a must then, since she's a pretty young character and that bubble is horrendous looking. Why they decided to bake that into G8F is beyond me. :(

Also why I hesitate in saying it flat out will work, I don't have all the G8F morph set there is that can be mixed with GU.  I am quite happy with what I have tried the outfit with.

Thanks for the morph, I look forward to trying that out sometime this weekend.    It's late and I must head home, chat later on heart

Thank you!  That's so much better than what I was going to say.  Like getting to Carnegie Hall but instead of practice, practice, practice you'd  "Pray, pray, pray". indecision

  • All the help I got and I didn't know because I didn't know how to find it and expected an email if someone answered but never got one . . . sorry and THANKS . . . I just found the 'My Discussions' option!

I was worried things had to be in a certain location for so DS would know where to find it . . . so I guess I can just remove designer's names from hair so I can find the hair faster . . . Thank you

  • I did contact DAZ support on a couple things . . . never got an answer at all . . . I was hoping to contact vendor personally because I use to test for her;  just bought a new package and it was missing the readme and I can't get it to work for some reason.  But submitted problem to Forum and just located the thread because I thought I never got any replies and I knew that wasn't like the people . . . Thank you all.
