Copyright

Hello

I have a silly question:

Are any of the Bryce software and its  features, including all the add ons here free of copyright? I mean, if I create a scene with by example IRAy World Plus and sell the full "Digital Painting" I made with it, is there any commercial licence required?

Thanks

Josie

The end user licence agreement basically states you may render 2D images and sell them.

The Bryce software and all it's add ons are not free of copyright.  They are owned by Daz 3D and you purchase a license to use.

As Matty says, any images that you make using Bryce are yours to do as you like with, as long as it is not possible to extract information from the image.

Do read the EULA,  that you agreed to, to see what you actually can or can't do     End User License Agreement

However do note that "IRAy World Plus"   won't work in Bryce.

  • Are we allowed to use the main core Bryce 7 Pro with no add on , just the 2 D components and create like a sky, add it to my own  Photoshop creation and sell the pciture ? Which Bryce components are copyright?

Second question, am I allowed to add my own 3D model to a picture totally rendered and made with Bryce and sell the pciture?

Thanks. This is important for everybody, so I would appreciate an accurate answer

    Thanks a lot

  • Merged duplicate threads.

  • You can use it to make your own 2D images. You just cannot redistribute the program itself.

As we have said  Images are fine.  Any images which you render in Bryce are yours to use as you require.  Bryce itself and it's components is what is copyrighted, not the images you produce with it.
