Some help with lighting please

Ok, so as the permanent residents here now know, I'm a new and very motivated guy.
So of course I'm beginning to toy with lights now.
Here are a few questions I need answered to progress in my work (and yes, I know I also need some good general tutorials on lighting, I'm game if you have any, but still would appreciate direct answers on those) :
- In the attached file I have used some light presets, and the cameras / emissive planes show, how can I hide them ?
- I have added no background but love the lights as they appear here, but they don't show in Renders, how could I make them visible ?
- When I load a new light preset does it cancel all the rest even if the cameras still appear in the scene tab, or do they superpose ?
- I used Boss Portrait Light Set, what is the difference between Full Set, Render Settings and Subset ?
- And on that subject, I also have GIDome Iray, which appears in Render Settings, why isn't it with the Lights Sets ? Is there any difference between regular Light Sets and Render Settings sets, and do they cumulate or replace each other ?
Thanks to anyone able to answer part or all that lies above

BOSS has a thread by the PA, you can ask questions regarding his sets there: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/139676/boss-pro-light-set-for-portraits-promos-commercial#latest
As for GI Dome, it replaces the HRDI map in the Dome render settings. As such, it isn't adding a spot/distant(emissive light to the scene, but kind of works like a sky, hence it's in the render settings not in the light sets. They should cumulate, unless the Light Sets come with their own HDRI.
I strongly recommend that you do Not render via the Perspective view. Put a camera (or cameras) in the scene and view and render through the camera, then you have more flexibility. You can also view through a photometric spotlight to see where it is pointing and aid in setup.
To get lights from showing in the render you can move them out of the camera path or move the camera. If that messes up your scene, you can also turn the render emitter off (Parameters>Light) or turn visibilty off in the Parameters>Display tab. I have mixed results with these.
Full Set would be a particular arrangement of multiple lights. Subset would be some of the light from a full set. Render Settings typically just set the various parameters in the Render Settings Tab, such as max time, Quality, Max iterations, Dome On/Off, and so forth.
A new light set usually just adds to the scene. However it can also replace the current light set, though this is rare. Your best bet to find out what lights are in the scene is to use the Scene tab. Note that this will not show what Environment dome is loaded. You can only fimd that in the Render Settings>Environment>Environment Map tab.
Thanks, that helps a lot.
The only missing answer is : how do I get that background lighting to show in the render ?
Is it an HDRI? Turn on Draw Dome.
