LIE Makeup-how do we know if a figure has it?

A friend of mine mentioned Stephanie 8 has LIE makeup, layered makeup. It'd be great to know which figures have it as well for swapping purposes. Is there a way to tell from the descriptions?

    Not all LIE is suitable for any character, but if you look in the "What's Included" bullet list, it should say something about "LIE Presets" instead of just materials. That said, Steph's iray materials aren't LIE. They're diffuse overlay (which is also often usable on other characters).

    Ah, I guess I need to read up, not sure which to use with what character. I'd love to be able to use makeups from somebody else on Stephanie 8, most of hers are "rocker chick" style..how do we know if other characters have diffuse overlay makeups?

    I guess I need to look, Steph does have some LIE makeups, so I would guess it'll be stated like this on other characters?

    Usually they say "LIE" or "overlay" or "layered" or "interchangeable." LIE makeup tends to work with all characters from the same UV. chevybabe25 and DarwinsMishap have a lot of characters with LIE makeup.

    Thanks. I have no use for LIE, so it's nice to know what to look for other than LIE.
