Since when does the store take my store credits automatically?

I prefer the old method, where I was shown my store credits and could decide myself if I wanted to use them on the acutal order or not. Now I can cancel that the last moment, there is an function given, but integrated in such a way that I didn't see it the first two orders and used credits I rather had spared.

    I always have store credits and they are never used unless I checkmark to use them on checkout.

    That was what I used to have. No they are just deducted if I don't check a box that I don't wish that. Don't know why.

    Did you have an order not clear on Monday? When I put in my PC+ items to day I had to clear my cart of the items I bought Monday but there was a hang over automatically charging Store Credit, I clicked on an X and that reset and everything is back to normal (haven't checkout yet)

    That might have been the reason, as the store now behaves as normal for me again.
