Centaur 7 M/F Compatibility?

I didn't get the Centaur 7 bundles when they came out; too much in each bundle I just wasn't interested in. I've now got the base figures plus a few bits and pieces, that were on good deep discounts in the PA Sale, and I've been browsing the other Centaur items, looking for stuff to wishlist.

My question; how much inter-compatibility is there between the M/F Centaur body parts? Can I use textures for one on the other, i.e. with the two Hides And Breeds products? Can anything else be shared between the two?

(I know there was a big forum thread when the C7M came out, but I haven't managed to find it yet.)

    Yes, you can use the hides for either male or female centaurs, with the exception of centaur characters from RawArt. I've also been able to use poses for the male on the female centaur with only a little fiddling. I assume that is because the same is true of sharing poses between G3M and G3F. Before C7F came out, I used Cross-Figure to to turn the male centaur into a female, but I still needed to use G3M clothing.

    with work you can use horse 2 and if you have the H2 clone Millenium Horse stuff

    but I cannot figure out how to make a clone for it on the centaurs as though it triggers autofit it does not scale correctly

    nobody else seems to know either so it needs to be done manually with the transfer Utility but the mesh for H2 is the same just bigger

    OK, and thanks for the links.

    Any reason the RawArt textures can't be crossed over? I thought the only difference was in the cutout opacity used at the body join. Can that be put in manually?

    Rawart's materials for his centaurs includes hide textures on the torso map, and skin textures on the hide map. As long as you use the entire character's textures, you could probably use a different G3M/G3F base shape. But I haven't tried it, so I can't say for certain. And I don't think you can use the textures cross-gender. But I haven't tried that either, so again, I can't say for certain.
