Forum bug

HeraHera Posts: 1,958

I keep getting mails that there are responses to threads I'm parttaking in, and when I click on the links in the mails I'm directed to my account instead of the thread, so I have no idea of what's being said by whom and in which thread. This has been going on now for a while and is very annoying. Please fix!

I think this happens when a thread you have participated in has been removed.

You should get an email which says   something like this

John Doe  commented on A blah blah thread about stuff...

Follow the link below to check it out:

So you can see who commented and which thread it was

  • If you aren't on the forum then you may well be sent to your account - click the link a second time and it should work. Though if the post has been removed then it of course won't.

If the Forum has signed you out, this can happen. Check the little blue man icon and sign in if you're signed out. click on any forum and you should see a "signing you in" message flash. Then you can use your email link. This has happened to me a lot.

    Hmmm... That's no forum bug...

The great forum locusts of aught 13'... Thems was forum bugs... Ate the pants right offin a fella they did... Saw it wit my own good eye, I did... Yes sir...

But seriously, I still get signed out randomly every day, every other day... Or sometimes I can simultaneously be signed in and visiting the forums on two devices at once...

    It's all good.

And on a side note...  Tjohn... I love that tuckered out pug up there... He speaks volumes to me.

...not just a reremoved thread, but if a single post that the email links to has been removed, that will cause it as well.
