I just wish that it was a consistent practice to always name all products used in promo images. Some of the images are pretty darn good. It would be helpful sometimes.

I agree. They obvioulsy wouldn't do it for any items bought on other stores, but daz store items need that.

If it's 3DUniverse's stuff, it's almost all his own older products...like those cool moccasin boots.
But yeah, it's been discussed a lot and it's a world of difficult, unfortunately. It'd be easier if there were a tool to extract product names from a scene file, I think, but most PAs just don't keep that careful records as they're making promo images.

Would be cool when light sets used were shown also.
Honestly, I never really use light sets from the store. I usually use an HDRI (again, not neccessarily one from the MP), with maybe one or two additional 'key' lights as needed by the scene.
some creators have someone else create their promo images for them some more than one to create the promos so be hard to gather all that info probably

We're all trying to get better about it :D One problem a lot of them have is that they'll make something for a promo but never release it anywhere XD There's a promo a friend did for me, and I *know* people are going to ask where one of the outfits are when it shows up in store, but she made it just for the promo.
It's not dead, it just hasn't been born yet...
Which one? There weren't any listed in the promo.
