ISO a free site to post webcomics

While working on my graphic novel, I want to post webcomics online.  I want somewhere free to post the webcomics to start bringing up an audience so my graphic novel does well.

Thanks I advance.  My stories are either Young adult or new adult urban fantasy mixed with science fiction if that matters.

    Yes, another vote for Comic Fury..

    Also Webtoons.....it's mostly Manga, but my stuff on there seems to be doing well- better than I thought....

    And don't foget you need to market you comic beyond the comic itself...

    Use isolated images.

    Tumblr and Instagram.

    Okay guess I need to figure out Instagram better and find out what tumbler is.  Will look at comic fury when it is not the wee hours of the morning.   Might search for webtoons then too, but I need to get back to sleep.

    Any of these sites mentioned open to fancomics? I'll be posting Revenge Of Godzilla an the Trek one to DA, but I'd like to post them to any site that would let me do so. Might be a good "Networking" tactic for down the road when I start on my original comics.

    I don't know a whole lot about it, but I read several webcomics on tapas.io, and they make it really easy for readers to know when you've updated and stuff.  They also have ways for you to earn money, but like I said, I'm not really that familiar with it.  Just thought I'd throw them out there since I read so much on them.

    Any of these sites mentioned open to fancomics?

    I don't remember anything in their terms and conditions about original content.

    I use ISSUU as my main hosting too. If the OP wants to find an audience, @Miss Bad Wolf probably better off using EVERY site you come across.

    ISSUU's strength is the interface and embedding. The downsides aree getting readers/traffic beyond what YOU generate and some of the limiations between PRO, consumer and FREE accounts. Another pro is the live links in your publication. Video embedding and such.

    These other free sites, you'd have to write some funky code yourself.

    I keep hearing about Tapas too, so I'll be researching them also...

    It's always best to go where the people are until you become popular and can direct traffic.

    http://comicgenesis.com is still up and around. It's where I got my start. It was called Keenspace back in my day though. It has a very simple to use automation system.

    There seems to be a delay getting the comics started.  I am still thinking about.  What is a good free or cheap comic making software?

    ^ Well, GIMP is free, but takes more work.  Comic Life is $30 but is awesome
