DAZ Survey via SurveyMonkey?

I just got an invite to do a survey for DAZ for $5.00 store credit, but the ad looks a bit... utilitarian for DAZ.  Anyone know if this offer is legit before I click on anything I might regret?

    I hope it's legit, I already did the survey. It didn't ask for any personal information, though.

    I'm more worried about it being a gate for ransomware and the like.

    Well, Surveymonkey is a real thing.

    Surveymonkey is legit.  I've used it on a web site I run, and just finished the survey.

    I was pretty sure it was legitimate as the address was Survey Monkey. I completed the survey and am just wondering when we get our store credit. I could definitely use it.

    Ack....yep, I clicked on it and did the survey without thinking it could be anything but legit.  Could someone from Daz weigh in on this question?  I did wonder how I would get any store credit, since I wasn't logged in at the time.

    The message at the end of the survay said: "Your store credit will become available to you before the end of Monday the 18th" - pity it's not sooner!

    Well the surveymonkey link had a 27-character reference attached - maybe that was unique to each person who was sent the email?

    Thanks for posting about it - just checked my e-mail and got this too (I've done SurveyMonkey surveys before - it's legit) - and thanks to Daz for the impending $5, which'll come in really handy :)

    Survey Monkey is legit. Daz used it with the last survey as well.

    Probably came through DAZ's customer list, and was associated with your account here. How else would they get your email address, save through DAZ?

    aah i'm glad there already was a thread for this. i also got the mail this morning, and was 50% sure it was a con - hence didn't click.

    since surveymonkey seems to be legit and used previously at daz, it's a good thing, i could use the fiver too. but besides not being ransomware or some other dangerous thing, and the guys already have my email addy (which, as a side note, i'm not exactly thankful to daz for, maybe it's in the small print somewhere, but as a daz customer i never asked to be listed at surveymonkey.. or anywhere else than daz, especially WITH MY NAME associated to my mail), is there any reason why i shouldn't participate, like they ask for even more potentially useable info going to them/on the net?

    In this day and age of spam and phishing attacks being a way of life on the internet, I received a SurveyMonkey email claiming to be from DAZ3D.  I marked it as spam and did not click on the link in it. Just wondering, though, wehther DAZ3D members get advance warning of such email surveys.

    DAZ has used SurveyMonkey for previous surveys, so that's probably legit.

    ^They ask for gender, age-range, income-range, and then a bunch of Q's about what you think of the Daz store, what you want to see more of, and how often you buy stuff, etc.

    Hopefully we will get one. I only joined up in about April this year.

    I got the email too and I've only been a member since March 2016. I'm not sure what the parameters are for who got it.

    It was worth filling in the survey even without the promise of the credit (although I'm not complaining!), as this is one of the rare chances we get to input to DAZ directly the kind of content we would like to see more of.

    I got it too. As others have said, Survey Monkey is a legit site. I'm happy to provide feedback to DAZ and get a little store credit. They can send me as many surveys as they like! wink

    Took the survey last night, how do we recieve the $5? Will it just show up as store credit?

    Thanks for responding everyone.  I took the survey and look forward to the credit, even though it's a tiny drop in the ocean that is my DAZ spending. ;P
