These all might work as a sale item if you put them all inside the log as a Fairy House. You'll likely need a few other items - perhaps a mushroom table and thimble chairs or large button on a thimble for a table and acorn bowls. Something cute like that. You're off to a great start - if you package them as a Fairy House and include some more items I think you might have a shot at getting it in the Daz store. :) You'll need some nice promo images with it as well.
Let me know if you need a beta tester, if so I'll try and help out.
You have some cute little items.
Have you done Iray and 3dl mats for them?
I would advise you to think about the shapes, materials, and scale of the textures overall. Right now, they are looking like random pieces put together. The image looking into the tree stump (if that's what it is) needs to be rethought; the interior looks like a noise pattern. The stump model is a bit stiff and does not have enough naturalness. Make sure you find and study reference on as many of your items as possible. In the end, there needs to be some cohesion so that the pieces all look like part of a pack with a theme. Good luck. BTW, I just relooked. Is that first image of a bed? I thought it was a box, but thinking now it's a bed. Take a hard look at scale. It seem high and the mattress and pillow don't really look like that's what they are.
While you are off to a good start, I think you should take a closer look at the level of detail required for the products here at DAZ.
Also thought has to be given as to what the set actually is about. A bed, stump and some crystals do not really seem to fit a theme for a set. If you make a bed, then the theme would likely be a whole bedroom set. If you make a stump, then that would be part of a whole nature scene, etc. Right now there is no cohesion to the props and likely would not find any market.
When making products, always look at what is the best in the store, and see if you can do better. If you cannot, then it is not worth doing....that is kind of a general rule that pa's (should) use for their products
Thanks i am currently working on several prop packs, these were just examples. when you say level of detail do i need more modeling detail or materials detail or both I'm very new to modeling and really have had no guidance thus far i could really use a push in the right direction. I'm using hexagon and Photoshop. any advice would be welcome.
This! look at the same type of item in the store and compare quality, both in mesh and textures to give yourself an idea of where you should be.
