Plant modeler problem - top tip of tree not rendering

Using the plant modeler.  Following a Cripema tutorial to make a Xmas tree.  Tree shape is conical.  Have checked the boxes for tip in the trunk tab and the leaf tab.  Tip of tree appears in preview.  However, tip of tree does not render.

 

Thoughts?

    I think that your leaves are too big and/or the tip branch is too short.
