what are the biggest changes with V8?

Was curious what the latest additions of the V8 character was compared to the G3 vicotria 7 one. Please can someone give me a lowdown of the main improvements? thanks

    the feet have changed. toe nails,  feet rigging.  eyelashes are seperate geometry. mesh eyebrows.

    In addition to what Mistara said, the muscle flow with poses has been improved as well as improved expressions. 

    While these changes are minor, if you're after photo-realism it's a nice step forward. ;) Not a huge step forward, but improvement for sure.

    And, of course, dual lobe specular which is one one of those things that Daz3d is refereing to in:

    Hmmm I don't think more flexible - not sure how much more flexable you'd want as I think G3 is as flexable as a human can get. lol The muscle flow tends to look a bit better in some poses though, if that's what you mean. :)

    You can test it for yourself to see the difference as G8F is free. V8 has all the same upgrades as the base Genesis 8 Female, as she's basically just a morph for Genesis 8 Female. :)

  • Being new to "the Daz game" I have tried things with G3 and G8, separately and together. I find that each generation goes a bit more into photorealism, with a few very good exceptions in characters of previous gens, and therefore it's hard to mix them in one image withouth making big adjustments. Everything on average seems better in G8, including the clothes and props made for it, but then maybe it's just the industry and artists which get better and better with time.
