will G8M stuff work on G2M?

I have successfully used hair and clothes (not shoes) from G1 & G3M on G2M. Will G8M hair and clothes also work on G2M?

    Try doing it the same way as you did to get G3M on G2M and find out.

    The hair will work if you parent it to the head instead of fitting it.  (You may need to do a little tweaking with scale and translation.)  For clothing, there are some threads in the forums on making clones.  You can probably adapt one of those to make a G8M clone for G2M.

    Clone for G1 to G2M is incorporated in essentials G2M. Surely you own some product for use G3M clothes in G2M, probably this: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-male-for-genesis-2-male-s.  Just now, there isn't a product with clone from G8M to G2M, but you can wait for a product with clone from G8M to G3M, then do  G8M to G3M and next G3M to G2M. For free, or do it just now, you can follow Crescent's recommendation about threads.

    Check out the stuff that comes with the free Essentials pack. It has Armani hair for G8, if I remember correctly.
